Having read the reviews on ASHFORD dermatology. I wonder if we are all talking about the same practice. I have been a patient of two specialists at Ashford for more than 30 years. I have had excellent treatment for minor and major skin cancers.
This is a busy place with the increasing number of skin cancers in Australia and the treatment is effective and efficient. I can only assume that some of the dissatisfied reviews are from people who expect to have a long chat from specialists' who are busy trying to find the time to schedule treatment for people who have serious dermatological issues.
Highly recommend these specialists and their staff for quality practice, surgical care and and great results.

Highly Recommend the team here. I was not in good shape, the lovely girls at reception have done everything possible to help me when i needed it most & put me onto Dr Simmons, who’s one of the warmest & wisest doctors. He took me seriously, making sure i was taken care of immediately & his been spot on so far from being in so much pain & discomfort along with the physcial aspect to instant relief’s been a true life changer. He know’s his stuff! The girls at the desk are always helpful & kind. It’s made all the difference! Thank you!

The previous comments/reviews on Dr Chaptini being dismissive and rushing through appointments like she’s just money hungry are true. I’m beyond disappointed I paid OVER $200 for a lazy doctor to recommend Accutane as the ONLY treatment for facial acne. Chaptini was so dismissive of my concerns for the plethora of negative side effects, did not investigate the causes of my acne further (even when I questioned) and refused to acknowledge ANY alternatives. I bawled my eyes out on the way back to work - I was so embarrassed and upset from being talked to like I was stupid. It’s almost 2025, it’s blatantly lazy to only prescribe one medication - especially from someone who’s supposedly studied for so long, I refuse to believe she doesn’t know better. There’s no way alternatives don’t exist, but my concerns and queries were literally shrugged off.

So yeah, if you’re happy to throw over $200 at Chaptini to ONLY prescribe accutane (and give zero advice), go for it.

My son saw Dr. C Chaptini fairly quickly (as other clinics he was referred to were unable to see him for months) well..now we understand why. Dr Chaptini was not rude to us but quite “blasé” and indifferent & seemed like she just wanted to get the whole thing over & done with within 5 minutes. Not a smile, a hello or kind word came out of her mouth for a teen suffering from severe acne and we both decided to go and see another dermatologist, pay double the already expensive fee they charge and wait for months, just to avoid seeing that specialist again. Please try avoid if you can wait and go somewhere people recommend.

Very poor experience. It was clear the dermatologist C Chaptini’s priority was just to get me in and out as soon as possible and I had to proactively insist for treatment and information. She was very dismissive of my experiences and it was frustrating to try and talk to a doctor who talks over and doesn’t seem to listen to their patient. Paying $117 out of pocket for this appointment is a complete scam.

My experience here was poor to say the least. Went to this clinic in hopes to have advice/find out more information about my severe eczema/skin allergy. Receptionists were rude, my specific Doctor was (when not showing complete disinterest) judgmental and condescending, and after three sessions of the same information I had spent an astronomical amount to be told "I would have to come back". The only good thing about this clinic is the lovely nursing staff. I don't usually write bad reviews, but when your patients are coming to you in distress and frustration regarding their skin and health, treating them this way is despicable.

I’ve had a wonderful experience at this clinic for treating my eczema. Dr. Chloe Lim is very professional and informative and has helped my skin go back to normal. Highly recommend!

A year of suffering from chronic dermatitis and to also have a skin check (beauty spots) went to see Dr Christou. Was in there for 10 - 15 mins was told to take steroid cream and to then come back in 4 weeks to see how I’m going. When I asked for to check my skin she said ran out of time and will check next visit at 4 weeks. And then next visit will do a ‘ patch test’. She couldn’t tell me what to change or what may have been the reason because I seemed all ‘over it anyways ‘. Just to change hand soap. But when questioned about possible diet change. ‘There have been no studies’. Where are the studies that tell you the cause of dermatitis?!? Waste of money and time. Oh and due to being unvaccinated had to wait outside and be called in from the back of the building to enter but they’re happy to still take my Money?! Will not be returning!
