I've been seeing Dr Rhea for a couple of years, and she is fantastic - very thorough, patient, and easy to talk to. The admin staff are also wonderful. Every single person I have spoken to from admin has been friendly, helpful, and understanding. Recently I needed to see Dr Rhea but she was unavailable. Lisa from admin put me on a cancellation list for the next available Dr but also gave me several contact numbers for alternative services just in case. A few hours later, Lisa called me back and had arranged an appt for me the following day. I saw Dr Binjung Amy who was so lovely and helpful too. The only downside is that sometimes I need to book an appt a week or more in advance because there is no availability. However, this is an issue with GPs in general due to the high demand, so it's unavoidable.

I absolutely do not recommend Ashford Avenue Family Practice. They show no interest in their clients and are consistently running late without any excuse, assuming this is normal.
There aren't even enough seats in the lobby, so I had to stand while waiting for my already delayed appointment.
20 minutes past my scheduled time, my doctor took another patient without notifying me of the delay or offering an apology. When I asked the lady at the reception to be notified if the appointment was running late, she acted offended.
Considering they are a private GP clinic, I will be looking for someone who respects their clients.

I've been here more times than I would like over the past year or so and the team here are superb. They really care about their patients and it shows from the team at reception to the very thorough and caring doctors. Dr Olivia is a brilliant doctor - I am so glad I found her for our family. She's always open to finding a solution, always ensures she takes the time to understand the issue/s, always follows up on results and next steps, and genuinely cares.

I have been seeing Dr David and Dr Janice for a few years (even when I moved 45mins away). They are very good doctors; very attentive and caring. I don't think rating a doctor poorly just because they ask you to wait outside for covid reasons (a very infectious disease), or have around half-hour waiting time is fair, considering some patients are needing extra care and some appointments are over the phone. I've been to other doc's who run thru 100 patients a day; my son ended up in hospital that same evening after the doc in the morning at another clinic said it was just hayfever; turned out to be a very bad tonsilitis infection... Do you seriously want to be rushed through? Be 'patient'!

Had an appointment with Dr renae Lawrence via video call and couldn't proceed as my daughter who the appointment was for wasn't present. Asked if it could be changed to my name and appointment still be about my daughters upcoming surgery but that couldn't do either as if the appointment is for myself it has to be about myself (due patient confidentiality). They couldn't accommodate that I wanted an appointment to discuss my daughters upcoming surgery without her present as it's extremely hard to do that when my 18month old is with me.

Then this situation was discussed with other doctors at the surgery and mentioned to my husband during his appointment later in the week. Very disappointed in the breach of confidentiality!

They were very good and attentive doctors 3 to 4 years ago. After COVID they increased fees and doesn't look very concerned about patients. It seems that they only want to see patients very quick and get the next...$$$.
Very disappointing as I changed my good GP. Anyway is never late to come back to my old GP.

Came here after being recommended by a friend for my baby's 12 month vaccination and as soon as we walked in the place was lovely as were all the staff. I was looking for a local practice that did the 2 jabs at once instead of 1 at a time. The doctor and nurse both gave her the needle at the same time in her arms. Everything went so well and they are wonderful with babies. If anyone ever gave this practice a poor score I'd be very surprised. They were also running on time which I checked before I went in. We were seen straight away. It's hard to find a good doctor and Dr Susan, her nurse and Michelle the front-of-house lady was amazing! Thank you so much!

Great doctors, always make sure to go through all the details and take all the tests needed. However the wait times are over the top. I understand patients with more serious illnesses must be seen first. But to wait over 45mins after my appointment time EVERY time is a joke.
