It’s very difficult to make a booking here — phone calls go unanswered, and emails are ignored.

The business hours are too short, making it hard for people who work full-time to visit.

Although the treatment room isn’t filthy, the overall cleanliness is questionable. The wooden bath frame was slippery, which was unpleasant. Even when I had a confirmed appointment, the staff didn’t show up on time.

I also sensed a lot of internal stress among the staff. I’ve been told some of them are on sponsorship visas, and because of that, they can’t speak up against the female owner. They often seem exhausted and unhappy, and I heard that they rarely get proper time off.

I came here seeking healing, but while my body may have felt somewhat better after the treatment, I always left feeling mentally more stressed. It’s unfortunate, as I believe wellness should address both body and mind. That’s why I’ve decided not to go back.
So I’ve chosen not to return anymore.

I love visiting Arisoo Chatswood with my adult daughters, the treatments are amazing, the staff warm and friendly and the combination of hot spa bath, cold plunge bath and steam room really hit the mark. You have to get the body scrub, so amazing and makes you feel worth a million dollars

Absolutely fantastic!!! Went for mother's day with my mum and sister and it was so relaxing, felt so welcomed and comfortable. The scrub was lovely and my skin feels so smooth now, the hair washing was personally my favourite. All the facilities were clean and well kept. Highly recommend for a day to yourself, with your girlfriends, sisters or mothers.

UPDATE: A refund was finally processed but only after a negative review was posted. I am still leaving this up as it was a poor experience overall.

We booked for five people and paid a $440 deposit (50% of the total). When we needed to postpone due to illness, the owner was reluctant and unhelpful. After persistent back-and-forth, we finally managed to reschedule, keeping in constant communication with the owner up until the day before.

On the day, we were stunned to be turned away by the sole staff member, who claimed she had no idea we were coming and said she couldn't accommodate us. The owner didn’t answer her phone and the worker made no attempt to contact her. We left confused, disappointed and incredibly frustrated.

Arisoo Spa later emailed an apology, promised a full refund, and offered a complimentary visit. But weeks have passed - no refund has been processed, and all follow-up messages, emails, phone calls have been ignored.

This business is disorganised, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of integrity. What an absolute joke. Avoid at all costs.

My friends and I booked various packages and paid the deposit. Our scheduling meant we had to rebook (which the lady was openly not thrilled to help out with) but we managed it in the end.
I had been messaging a few times leading up to our spa day, often met with silence. Of course all calls went unanswered. I was messaging to let her know of the changed health conditions of the two of four of us, and it was right up until one day before our booking. I got a text back in confirmation and we were set to go.
We arrived at our booking time of 2pm only to be told there was no booking for 4 people. She spoke not one word of English and held up a giant cross with her hands. I then asked her to identity the phone number I'd been messaging and she tells me she doesn't know the number and her 'boss' isn't answering. She says there's no other staff but her, so she can only take one person but we clearly here multiple voices coming from inside.
We wait around until 3pm, attempting to call and message this lady. The other lady didn't show again.This was last Friday, and we still have not heard from her. The overall atmosphere of the entrance is quite dark and musky, nothing like a clean spa.
The overall experience is beyond disappointing, it's almost maniacally hilarious. Who takes a deposit for 4 people, keeps in contact right up until one day before the booking, and ghosts us day of? We had taken the day off work, time away from young babies, flipped over schedules, as mums do, to make this spa day happen and what a joke it was. The silence from Arisoo makes it all the more comical. Do better.

It was difficult to find, because it's not in 7 Help Street proper, but a really nice bloke in the employment place told me to just go down the ramp out the front and it was about 50 metres further up the street. This is a water place. I hate to think of their water rates, but I am definitely glad that they are generous with it. You will definitely be naked, but there's practically no-one there, so don't worry about it - it was just me, the receptionist, one other client, and the most marvelous super strong lady in the whole place. Lots of cameras in the public spaces. It's up on the first floor with no lift, so expect a bit of a climb. Luckily I didn't know that, or I would have missed out on a really great experience and still be carrying around an extra 1/4 lb of dead skin...
Didn't use the hot water tub, because it's up some really high steps, or the steam room, because it was too hot yesterday... The lady who SCRUBS you is super fit and strong and very nice.
I'm going to go again.

This place was good as they did have facilities for bigger people as well as smaller people. It was a bit hard to locate and I did love the fact that they had a dead skin body scrub but there was a lot of naked people so do people prepared for that fact. But I would have to say that the shower facilities and the hot bath was also pretty good to wish they had something similar up Newcastle Way
