I have been using this gym for a couple of years now. It is certainly one of the better AF gyms in Canberra - small, boutique with the right sort of clientele (older less image conscious folks!).

One irritation is that it clearly states on the walls in the gym and on many machines that the clients need to use both towels and wipe down the equipment after - I have addressed this with the staff twice in the past 2 weeks and they say "Yes it is policy" all the whilst clients are in the gym with no towel, no wiping anything down and with Winter on the way this is a great way of spreading infections.

This has been a deterioration in the quality of this gym - which is a shame as it has a good feel about it.

Visited this gym over the long weekend. First time visiting this gym. Easy to find and entrance easy to find. First impression. Small but clean. Cardio area was great with up to date Life Fitness equipment. Took a while to find the speed options. The weight machines were a mix of Precor and Life Fitness. I’m used to Life Fitness or Strength or whatever it is called. I found the Precor equipment weird and clunky to use. Again, I’m not used to it. The bathrooms were SPOTLESS!! Makes the AF’s in Sydney look like an amenities block in a Caravan park!
I’ll be back in August so will see you again soon.

24 hour gym located in Jamison opposite the road near the Jamison shopping centre. The gym is clean and is well maintained and also has necessary change rooms and toilets.
There is limited parking in front of the gym and it is mostly full. However there is a parking lot which is free across the road . There is a good amount of parking in the parking lot.

I only go here for convenience but I might start going to Gungahlin instead. People seem to be allergic to shoes here and cars keep parking in the bike bays

Great gym. One thing I really love about it is the lack of TVs on the walls. A lot of the other anytime fitnesses are surrounded by screens and it can make it a bit harder to focus on the workout sometimes for me. Also great choice of machines

I’m enjoying the new equipment, always clean compared to other anytime fitness, staff are friendly. Only gripe is why didn’t you put the lockers next to the changing rooms during the renos. Great gym compared to Casey anytime fitness

i have been trying to pause my member ship for over 6 months. calling in, emailing, nothing works. sometimes i’ll make the drive to jamison and no one’s even working there. i have to get it blocked through my bank, it’s a scam
