I cannot recommend Anxiety House Bulimba and psychologist Sean McWhirter highly enough! Sean is typically based at the Anxiety House Northside, but he kindly made an exception to see me at the Bulimba location to conduct an IQ test. This gesture alone speaks volumes about his flexibility and commitment to meeting his clients’ needs.

From the moment I met Sean, his laid-back and approachable demeanor put me at ease. We began with an in-depth induction session where he took the time to get to know me, my history, and my overall circumstances. It was clear he genuinely wanted to understand my situation, which I found incredibly reassuring. Sean’s ability to listen attentively and create a relaxed environment made me feel comfortable sharing everything he needed for the session.

When it came to the IQ test, I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient and seamless the process was. I initially expected the test to take about three hours, but we were done in just under 2.5 hours. Sean was incredibly professional throughout, and his calm demeanor made the experience stress-free.

Although my session with Sean was specifically for the IQ test, I am now seriously considering working with him in the future for stress and anxiety management through Telehealth, while continuing to see my current psychologist at Maxwell and Moore Psychology. Sean’s expertise, coupled with his relaxed and approachable style, makes him a standout professional in mental health support.

For anyone new to mental health support or considering reaching out for help, I highly recommend Sean at Anxiety House Northside. However, if the Northside location is inconvenient, don’t hesitate to explore the team at Bulimba. I believe the entire staff at both locations is as wonderful as Sean, and they are dedicated to ensuring you find the right support for your needs.

The administration team at both Anxiety House locations is also fantastic—friendly, professional, and ready to assist with any inquiries. Whether you’re booking a session, asking questions, or needing guidance on which psychologist might be the best fit, they are incredibly helpful and responsive.

Thank you to Sean and the entire team at Anxiety House for creating such a positive and supportive experience. Whether you need mental health support, someone to talk to, or specialized services like the IQ test I completed, you’ll be in excellent hands here.

I highly recommend Chloe and the team at Anxiety House! So professional, personable and efficient. The team on front desk are delightful and so helpful. A non judgmental, personable practice. I’ve seen ALOT of different clinics in regards to therapy and this is by far the best one I’ve ever had to deal with. Communication is amazing, reception is so lovely, they respect boundaries and don’t charge you an arm and a leg to receive support, such reasonable prices. Rebates come into your acc within the same minute, such easy start up as a new clients and you don’t have to wait months for an appointment. Cannot recommend enough!

Do not recommend wasting your time here. Initially was told there was a 3 MONTH waiting period to be seen by anyone, which alone is pretty ridiculous for mental health. It took around 5 MONTHS to even be offered an appointment in 4 MONTHS time. All together a 9 MONTH WAIT just to be seen for the first time. Hate to think how many potential clients have had severe mental health episodes or worse just waiting for an appointment…

I don’t normally write negative reviews but I do not recommend this practice at all. Whilst the councillor was professional, the front end reception staff care more about money than the clients wellbeing. Especially the office manager who has proven a number of times to continually hound and harass for fee’s that were just within the 24hr cancellation period with no consideration for circumstance or loyalty. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable and a business and office manager. Please steer clear of this practice.

I have been seeing Dr Vinit for the last year, he recommended me to come and see a psychologist here at Anxiety House. My GP commented on how impressed she was with the correspondence she had received from Dr Vinit. I enquired through the website and received an email back from Kym within an hour. She straight away offered me an appointment which was amazing. I then was contacted twice before my appointment by Kerry, who offered me appointments as Kym had put me on the waitlist if any spots became available. I was very impressed with Kym and Kerry, they are both very caring and amazing receptionists. I saw Dr Sam Versace, he is imformative , friendly and his approach is something i have never experienced before. I find myself very keen to come back and see how Dr Sam can help me. I am so pleased with Anxiety House, Dr Vinit and Dr Sam, I would recommend to everyone.

I am really happy with the service by Anthony and Irenee.
Anthony is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate in his area. He really aim to help client and his way of approach helping me a lot and I can feel I am getting better and comfortable.

I am also very appreciated with Irenee who helped me to solve administrative problems by provide me solution and solve problems efficiently and quickly in a very professional manner.
