This year, for my nieces and nephews Christmas present we decided to give them a Farm Party at beautiful Anstead Acres. So on Wednesday, we watched the four kids, ranging in age between four and ten have a fantastic time with Pam and the team. It was just wonderful. Pam’s way with the animals and with the kids gave them confidence to interact with the animals, and amazingly to ride on the horses. It was wonderful to see them enjoying every part of the Farm Party. From leading Thelma and Louise over to Clara Belle for feeding, to hand-feeding the goats and sheep, Pam was there for the kids re-assuring them when they got a bit nervous and giving them the space and time they needed to adjust to the animals. All of the kids absolutely loved the horse-riding. It’s given the kids a lovely memory together.
I would really recommend Anstead Acres for a great time for the whole family – it was just wonderful watching the smiles on their faces as they interacted with the animals and rode the horses.

We had an amazing pony party here, and have since come back for a school holiday camp. It was such fun learning about horses —
how to groom and care for them and dress them up. Going for a ride around the obstacle course was great. There was kind and clear instructions for 6 year olds. Thanks Pam and all!

I came to Pam a few years ago as a beginner rider, who is a bit older than most. I had zero confidence after taking a fall from my own horse, and was nervous to even get back in the saddle. Pam showed me nothing but compassion. We went at my pace, and she never pushed me past what I was comfortable with. Her knowledge of all things horse is commendable. I have come such a long way in both skill and confidence under her guidance and am excited to continue my growth. Her lessons are different each week and cover so much more than just walk, trot and canter. She teaches true horsemanship from the ground up. Highly, highly recommend.

We held my son’s 8th birthday party at Anstead Acres. Pam was efficient, kind and professional in her communication prior to the day and deftly managed the excited children as they did lots of fun activities around the farm. My son was particularly anxious about a few of the activities and Pam’s personalised attention and insightful efforts to give him the trust and confidence in himself required meant he had the “best birthday ever!”. All of the participants’ parents watching from the shade of a tree commented what an outstanding job she did with all of the children. Smiles all round at the end of the party! We’ll be back for sure!

I can’t recommend Pam highly enough.
Having no previous experience with horses I was both excited as I was nervous about starting lessons. Pam is as good at reading her students as she is her horses. Converting her obvious experience and knowledge into easy to understand instructions. Knowing just how far to push you to get you out of your comfort zone, but always showing kindness and compassion. The confidence I have built in a few short lessons has made such a difference for me. My lessons at Anstead Acres have fast become a favourite part of my week.

Anstead Acres is a fantastic horse riding venue with a great atmosphere and very well maintained facilities. Pam and her staff are passionate about horses and their style of teaching involves not only riding but horsemanship skills as well. My daughter is thoroughly enjoying her lessons and she is always very excited for the next lesson to come around. Thanks Pam.

I held my pony obsessed daughter's 10th birthday party at Anstead Acres, and so happy I did. Pam is a lovely professional horse lady who made the afternoon so special for the girls by sharing her knowledge about the ponies. Daughter said it was the best day of her life 8). Highly recommend
