I took my very unwell friend (78) here on Monday and he was “diagnosed” with a lung infection. This doctor did not take his temperature or blood pressure. Nor did he ask for ANY medical history or existing conditions or current medications. I won’t be recommending this practice to anyone. Total time with doctor was 5 minutes.

My father didn't receive all the information he needed. He said he wasn't referred to anyone. His lifestyle wasn't asked about. He died recently due to Melanoma. Likely due to a fraction of a cell that wasn't properly removed. If he was demanded to be checked more frequently and reviewed by someone else; given how much time he's outside he could have been given an immunotherapy pill. He needed 9 weeks for the pill to take effect, symptoms only showed in 5 that he started to get sick.

Time management with regard to some doctors is rather poor!! I was contacted almost three hours later than my appointment time, and there was no apology whatsoever!

I called the reception twice to confirm if I was on the list. The receptionist confirmed this, but did not seem to want to listen/did not have time to listen to me explaining to her that we also have commitments, and that management should be made aware of our concerns.

Dr. Patel ALWAYS manages to see my husband and me on time ! It is a pity that the other doctors cannot do the same. In addition to Dr. Patel's excellent time management skills, we have received excellent care and treatment from him.

Wait times can be quite long at times depending on the Dr, but they are quite knowledgeable and seem to be more thorough than many other places I’ve been. I click with some Drs more than others and have found RESULTS coming here. I recommend researching your medical matter so you can help Drs help you, and at Elizabeth St they are open to suggestions and listen to how you really feel. 4 stars only because wait times and admin can sometimes be tedious, otherwise worth the wait for the genuinely helpful care you get.

Thanks to all at the ESMC for the assistance you have provided me over the last 16-odd years. While it's sad that this location is closing down tomorrow, I will be following Dr Patel to his new treatment location at Annerley, as his assistance with my mental & physical health concerns while he has been my doctor has been excellent.

Dr Chadfield is great and an excellent Doctor but needs to understand patients don't have an infinite amount of time to wait around! Timekeeping is really lacking! Waited an hour and a 1/2 just to be seen and when I was in with him he seemed to think I had a lot of time to just listen to him teach his medical student!

The Receptionists aren't very understanding or friendly at all, and the doctors are ALWAYS running late. We've waited half an hour on the best day. One morning we were the third appointment and after 45+ mins and after reception staff rudely giving no updates when I asked about how long we'd have to wait, we were forced to leave due to time constraints. Don't come here if you want doctors who are timely. A couple of the doctors are okay (we see Dr. Riva who is usually good), Dr Chadfield is the best we've seen though.

Great to be able to see a doctor who has personal experience in his field and his wife that rounds out the picture. A lot of reviews here mention that the doctors run late and rarely get the patient in at the time booked. Yep, I agree however when you are in with the doctor, it's easy to see why. You're given a complete, holistic consultation where it's explained to you by Dr Chadfield or his colleagues every choice that you have in front of you.

This takes time people!!

It's also bulk billing guys. While I am sure that the clinic would abhor me pointing out that you are getting infinitely more than you are paying for, you are getting infinitely more than you are paying for! The level of care from a GP here far exceeds the level received from dozens of specialists for my opinion. This level of care at the price here means that the practice is doing this for the benefit of the patients primarily, and these decisions are made by the doctors that run the place.
