Adopted my boy Donny for the shelter and the service was great. Donny was due for a needle on the 1/10/24 however was adopted on 30/9/24. The shelter ensured he got the needle prior to him coming home. Highly recommend

Such an amazing experience with Animal Welfare League. Our beautiful puppy is just perfect - already so well trained and mannered. They have great facilities and the staff obviously care so much about the animals. I can't thank them enough for our beautiful fur baby!!!!

Five stars for facility, staff, ease of adoption experience and just everything! You can tell AWL cares about the care and well-being of their animals. The cats facilities are impeccable and you can see them taking time and training the dogs they have on site to. Compared to other shelters i’ve been to where the cats are in tint rooms with no toys or sunlight, I could not recommend AWL enough if you’re thinking of adopting.

Lovely surroundings, friendly staff, and beautiful clean lodgings for the animals, who are all obviously loved and deeply cared for. Today we adopted a lovely cat, who came vaccinated, microchipped, registered, with a detailed medical history that was explained well to us, as well as up to date worming and flea treatments. I would absolutely recommend the AWL for those seeking to adopt an animal.

Whilst what this place does is a great thing, the way they go about it is wrong. We recently lost our beloved cat and wanted to look at the kittens they have.

We have adopted numerous pets over the years from various places and the screening process over the phone before I could make an appointment was OTT. The person I spoke to was rude from the minute she answered the phone and then I was rudely told that because all of the household members could not go I was told they could not help us. There was no sympathy at all. I was literally lost for words and dumbfounded.

We want to adopt an animal from a shelter to give them a loving home and a good life and lots of love. Seems this shelter does not want to give up their animals and milk it for all it is worth. It makes me sad for the animals.

The vet clinic was amazing and so was the staff at the shelter. We adopted a cat from here and the whole process was smooth and easy. They really care of their pets here, definitely recommend anyone who is looking to get a new family member. Video of our little cutie who we adopted two weeks ago.
