I have always found the doctors at this surgery to be caring and informative. However, over the years (and I have been a patient there for over31 years) there is one medical receptionist who is one of the rudest people I have ever come across. Monday this week I rang the surgery amy call, to my surprise was answered- I had been trying for 3 weeks to contact them as I required a repeat prescription and my doctor was retiring at the end of March. When I stated, oh you answered and I then explained why I said this, the reception told me she found that hard to believe. I stated I don't lie. I then asked if my doctor was still there this week- as I needed to get a prescription, which was why I had been ringing for 3 weeks. The reception told me the doctor was there until Thursday but we aren't getting her to do prescriptions as she is leaving. I closed our conversation with thank you and rung off. Fast forward to Tuesday this week and I by chance ended up at the surgery to do something for my mother and I decided that I would wait to say goodbye to my doctor. Again long story short, I spoke to my doctor of 31 years and informed her of my experience - the outcome was she wrote my prescription and said a few times- I don't understand why they would let you run out of your medication and I am clearly still here working! The same reception has been extremely rude and disrespectful to my 85 year old mother on various occasions over the last few years, so much so that she is now going to a new surgery. The surgery really needs to look into the practice of this receptionist, as she is not the right fit for a medical reception and unfortunately they will continue to loose patients.

I come here weekly for the last 6 weeks via appointment and every single time have waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time, with multiple times being over 1 hr 30 mins wait. I understand they can be busy at times but what good is booking an appointment when you come early and still have to wait over 60 minutes every single time. Multiple other patients in waiting room complain of similar experience

The worst reception staff out of any doctors I've been too. I work night shift and I've not been able to get an appointment in over 4 months because they tell me to ring back each morning.... save your time and money and visit a practice that actually cares about its patients....
