Went to this clinic after around 8-9 months and the lady at the counter said that I have to pay $90 for script. I said I was an existing patient, so I was told that I was existing patient, but since I wasn't a regular, I had to pay $90 and if I was a regular it was covered by bulk bill. I was confused, so if I looked after myself and am fit and don't have to visit the doctor frequently, I had to pay. But If I was sick more and ate junk and was a regular patient, it would be free for me. This is unbelievable and not sure what they are promoting for sake of profits? I will definately have a chat with ahpra and office of Health regarding this practice.

Amtan Medical, Reedy Creek has a very professional approach. The patient is always greeted with a kind friendly face. This Practice will go above and beyond for all patients and will do their very best to work with the patient for an appointment. Working in the medical industry myself, and without exception I highly recommend this Medical Practice.

I think I've written maybe 3 reviews of businesses in my entire life, and this one is definitely needed.

The appointment did not start off very well as when I arrived 10 minutes early, the reception told me bluntly "sorry I don't know where she is, she's not here yet". I was given no updates. I ended up waiting 10 minutes from my appointment time - which is fine, happy to do so. The doctor walked through the door straight past patients, made no apologies that they were late and looked straight ahead.

The doctor I saw seemed very disinterested. Part of me would very much like to name this particular doctor, but I won't publicly name and shame. Perhaps I should have read the other lower reviews on Google here before booking. It was my first appointment at Amtan Medical and this doctor seemed quite dismissive and lacked any ounce of compassion when I shared vulnerable information in a clearly emotional frame of mind. Hardly even flinched. When I questioned something regarding Medicare, I was met with a very blunt response and what I felt was an air of defensiveness.

I will not be back to see this particular doctor. Had this doctor gone about my queries and case in a completely different way, I would have a very different response. Unfortunately this was not the case. To think that this level of care is possibly being given to other patients in their own vulnerable states, is concerning.

Exceptional service!! Dr Joel was excellent. Very thorough and caring toward our 6y/O son. I forgot to get a medical certificate and he squeezed me in latter that day. Very impressed. The reception staff are lovely. Professional personal service is not often encountered in today's society, but the reception team here are first class. Thank you for a great experience.

Was so glad to be "told" to leave and find another doctor, and that I did, who discovered an infection in my left lung and put me on anti-biotics straight away and Helped me and Healed my months of prolonged respiratory illness that was ruining my life. But this doctor here at Amtan had no idea how to help me, he took no genuine interest in listening, and i believe that is where he is at fault, and is a dangerous man if you want real help and treatment because he doesnt know what that means. He also had no idea about a medicine prescription i had to correct him on via another clinic, he also had no idea about treatment plans but pretended he did and just messed me around and wasted my and the remedial therapist professional's time and money. Save yourself, dont go here!

I am only new the GC and got in for a first appt really quickly. Tick 1!
Saw Dr Joel on first 2 visits. Friendly, professional. Tick 2!
Have since seen Dr Chan twice as Dr Joel was away. He was thorough with tests and subsequent referrals. A really lovely approachable manner. Tick 3!
Both pathology assistants were great at the surgery . Tick 4!
Receptionist the kindest, friendliest I've ever met. Tick 5!
I am about to move a little further north but I will be driving back to see this wonderful crew.

Dr. Ahmadi doesn't seem very interested in you as a patient and is quite dismissive. She doesn't explain things well and the appointments feel rushed, like she can't wait to get back to her phone even before you leave the room. Her English is poor, so it's hard to understand her or have a proper conversation.
