I am 67 years of age with a couple of health problems. I Started seeing Dr.Kelly Morton about four years ago. Prior to seeing her I had seen quite a few doctors. It was only because the doctor that I had been seeing was busy that I got to see her. And I thank my lucky stars that it worked out that way because my life changed for the better since I’ve started seeing her. She is quite meticulous in the tests that she orders and the way that she follows up on the results. She is very caring and always shows empathy. She gives you all the time that you need. She is an amazing person, a brilliant doctor and quite frankly I think she’s an angel. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Kelly Morton. It’s people like her that make this a better world. Great Drs, good customer services, excellent care with variety of services all under one roof, easy enough to get an apt. Haven’t had any bad experiences in 14yrs going there with all my family. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been regulars at Altona Medical Clinic for over 20 years. Generally the service is good, but over the last 12 months trying to get an appointment is woeful. Not only must you ring at 8am for an urgent appointment, you are slotted against changing Drs. I tried today at 8am to be told no appointment for 2 days. Sadly that is pushing us out the door to alternative options. Don’t even bother if your a new patient!

Worst customer service ever experienced I can’t believe how rude this receptionist lady was on the phone absolutely 0 respect she should get fired!! For managers referral this phone call was on 21/01/2025. She was being aggressive on the phone when I asked her if I can come in and then she hung up in my face. I then kept trying to call back to book an appointment as this is my local clinic and I was never answered too.

Worst medical centre I've ever been too. Everytime I come here the staff are so disorganised, no one wants to help. I need to an echo, they told me to come in 30mins earlier than my original appointment and I'm 30mins passed my original appointment. Not one to complain but this place is just a school for future nurses being trained by people who have no Passion or motivation for their careers.

I haven't been a patient since August 2023 & receive a random missed call, no message left. When I contact them they said i'd seen a doctor the day earlier, was this about payment?
No, I wasn't there yesterday & why has someone accessed my patient details to call me?
Reception had zero idea as to why I'd been called as there were no notes on my file. I now have serious concerns about my confidential information lodged with them.
After 2 hours of awaiting a reply regarding this I have decided to post this review.
Beware, as they seem to be unable to explain how or why my information was used & the person on reception seemed to not even care that this was of concern.

Thank you Altona North Medical Group. Thank you to our amazing Doctor. Dr Michael Macpherson. Michael consistently goes above and beyond to provide us with exceptional care. Diagnostic tests, treatment which leads to positive outcomes. Warm and clear explanations which are always delivered thoroughly and compassionately.

I must respond to the two individuals who have written the past two reviews. Many people require medical treatment, naturally the phone is not always going to be answered immediately. It's worth the very minimal time waiting and yes, there will be Doctors who are not taking new patients. Not because they don't want to I'm sure! The doctors at Altona North Medical Group spend quality time with their patients. They are not robots and quite frankly, I prefer quality over haste any day.

Thank you Altona North for your polite, responsive and respectful Medical reception team and again a big thanks for our incredible Dr Michael Macpherson. We would be lost without him.

Terrible experience on 20/11 with the female admin staff at kidney west. She’s rude, unhelpful, and completely disorganized. Patients deserve better care and respect, especially in a medical setting.
