I was a client of this practice from 1991 back when Dr Foster owned it to 2021. I no longer go there here's why.

1. They have had the same exceptionally rude receptionist there for Decades. Clueless Sue needs to retire or be fired.
2. They No longer Accept Cash
3. Since the Worldwide 2020 Event this places' main focus is to operate like a legalised drug dealer for Big Pharma first and foremost. Staff now even resort to ringing randomly after hours to offer you a free vaccine.
4. A couple of the Nurses are very Dictatorial. Some do not comprehend the meaning of the answer No. They will try to keep pushing some treatment on you and coerce by asking you the same question until you say yes. Especially Lindsey. Particularly with Vaccines. Even when you are not there as a patient and just waiting for someone in the waiting room.....
5. These days I regularly see an Ambulance in the Emergency Bay when I go past. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 Ambulances there at the same time.
6. If you are on a Government Subsidised Care Plan they really don't do these properly or thoroughly. The Other Big Medical Clinic in Alstonville is far better at conducting Care Plans because they actually care.

If you still decide to try your luck / risk your life here, these are the only Doctors Id recommend from these as of 2024

Dr John Watts (the Most Experienced Doctor there. But I could tell the last time I saw him that he's losing his enthusiasm)
Dr Paul Eason

I am unfortunately changing my 5 star rating to a 1. After calling today to book an appointment. The receptionist Sue, was nothing but rude, impatient and unkind to talk to. This not only was antagonising, but as a patient of this clinic I was told I couldn’t get an appointment till at least 30th of September, so will have to find another clinic I suppose.

Sue: your phone manner is appalling.
Please Alstonville medical centre get on DocBook or HotDoc so your patients don’t have to deal with this woman. So rude and unhelpful.

Good staff with solid safe work practices in place, Lindsay is one of the best nurses in the business and Dr Watts did a great job of removing my cyst. It's a bit far to travel from Casino, but it's worth the drive.

I haven’t had a bad experience here, doctors, nurses and admin have always been helpful. It’s just so hard to make an “on the day” appointment when you’re really sick. Today the medical centre was booked out at 8:04am. Such a shame.

Rude and obstructive receptionists. Charge like a wounded bull. You wait ages because they can't organise themselves. Very poor communication with the customer. Avoid - there are far better and cheaper alternatives locally.

Absolutely appalling, wouldn’t visit my baby because she’s not a current customer and she’s got a cold so no because she might have corona virus.
Can we move on please?! Can we go back to be more human? Not treating people like we’re a pest? Disappointed, totally disappointed.
