Visited the Albany Creek Doctors for the first time a couple of months back. Before the appt, they sent an extensive form for new patients to fill which took ages. When I got to my appt the resident nurse then went thru all the info filled in the form. I had thought that would be the end of it. But when I got to my consultation with the doctor, we spent 90% of the time going thru the information that was already verified with the nurse. So that even though I only went in for a couple of minor concerns, we ran over time by about 2 mins. I was shocked to see that due to the incompetency of the admin process I was then charged a long consultation that was double in fees! For going over a standard consult by 2 mins because the doctor wasted time going over irrelevant details. Not only that, to get the results of a simple urine test, I was told I had to book in a phone consultation in which more money would be charged, just to hear a yes or no answer. I was frankly very disgusted by the fee gouging behaviour of the practice. Are their doctors not getting paid enough? Judging by the amount they can charge for 2 extra mins I’d say they are. How do you think the rest of us are coping in the current economic climate? Needless to say I nor my family members would be returning to this practice!

Good doctors, but terrible customer service. Regularly wait for 30+ minutes after a booked appointment time. A courtesy call to tell people you're running late would go a long way to improving this, or even just letting people know when they walk in so they can plan for this.

First visit with Dr Joe today. Reception staff and clinical staff were efficient and attentive. Need lots of green plants in reception to refresh air. Cut back on Pharmas advertising on walls. Reception looks sterile. Need trees and real plants.

Forgot to ask for a medical certificate, called the practise the next day and was told I would be charged a consultation fee. It was a 30sec call with the doctor and an email of the certificate for $60. This is not a consultation and an appropriate charge. Will not return to this practice.

The shocking phone manner from the receptionist Rosemary is going to be the undoing of this practice. Good doctors however shocking phone manner that is purely not acceptable.

Dr Joel Seguerra, is straight forward person, and will help in best understanding way for what inquiries may be or with how to explain what is needed and with checking that your okay to intaking whatever progress is needed for you,
