Dr Preeti Kanpal is friendly and she listen what you say. And she’s not an arrogant. I love her service to me and my kids she really know what she’s doing she’s not in hurry her service she want to fix and and solve the problem she’s there and listen your side how she can gave you a better service . I love her attitude and her energy. That’s why I recommended her to my friend and my co worker or even at the women center. Her service is excellent out of 10 absolutely 100percent .

I don't know why I have to give this place a one star rating. It is a negataive rating as far as I am concerned. I went to see a doctor about knee issues not having private health insurance I asked if I could be his patient. His answer was NO. He told me not to come back. I asked why? His lame response was that he has too many patients, that was anything but true, as I got to see him very quickly . I have severe PTSD as a result a being severly molested by a catholic clergyman. I presented the QUACK with the documentation from a variety of specialists and the catholic church acknowledging the extreme abuse, includidng the fact that I have severe PTSD. I don't know if his rather undignified response was based on greed, as he only wanted patients with private health insurance or whether his a catholic and wanted nothing to do with survivors of catholic abuse. As a result of the callious treatment I suffered a spiral of depression. Big thanks for that.

The Akinvale Medical centre's web site contradicts what you have to say. In the section on billing says very plainly the following:
"We are a mixed billing practice. Patients who hold a current Healthcare Care or Pension Card issued by Centrelink or a DVA issued card and those aged 17 and under are bulk billed. Therefore, please ensure you are able to present a current Medicare Card and Healthcare/Pension card when arriving for your appointment, otherwise a fee will be incurred. All Care plans, Health Assessments, Immunisations, Vaccinations, Excisions are bulk billed regardless of circumstances".

I made the apointment based on the information on your website. I have a Pension Card, If the web information isn't correct then you're making false and misleading claims on your website.

Dr Geeta is the worst dr ive ever visited- and ive been to many- was not very warm to begin with, and not helpful AT ALL. Left the doctors so disappointed and angry. So many Dr's my son and i have crossed paths with and she by far is the WORST

Good practice. Very pleasant and busy. Mostly visits are rushed and rarely are they long enough to get comfortable enough to bring up anything that’s uncomfortable. But if there was Dr Hughes would be the choice. He is pleasant and communicates well. Very good English. Just that time is a big factor with all doctors now and as patients we are very aware of putting health issues off due to time and money restraints. Especially when a 5 to 10 min block is around 75.00 at most practices that don’t bulk bill. Nowhere near value for money anymore.
Chemist is onsite also for convenience as well as QML for any pathology needs.

Receptionist is a bit rude...you know who you are older one....loved being hung up on after greeting you and still I was being polite and respectful in making an appt for another party. Hope you realise your tone of voice and mannerism is off putting. There is professionalism I get this but there is also genuine customer service. You put me off prior to even wanting ever to see a Doctor there.

I have been using this medical centers services for over 10 years. In this time my daughter has also used the medical centre and as a whole I find our doctor to be very helpful and friendly. The reception staff are always helpful and willing to be flexible if needed with appointments. Would recommend this practice to people who are wanting professional and friendly service that normally runs on time

I did my visa medical at this clinic.
I didn't have a good impression at first, the place is a bit run down and the receptionist seemed distracted.

However, I did all my examination in no time. All the staff members were super friendly and all my enquiries were answered in satisfactory manner.

If you work nights, avoid them like the plague. They will call you for no reason at all hourse of the day.

If you need more than a month of you prescription, they won't do it, so you'll have to pay for more appointments.

Basically they're greedy, and show utter contempt to people who work at night. Definitely a desperation-only clinic.
