I just had my 13 week pregnancy scan here and had an amazing experience since the reception. The technician Sue conducted my scan and gave to me and to my husband a magical moment being so patient and kind throughout the whole scan. Also the doctor was so attentive and kind to us. Thank you guys for contribute to our good memories in this especial moment.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Sue who has rekindled our faith in the healthcare system that there are good staff out there. I had a 28 week pregnancy scan yesterday and Sue was fantastic, very patient and explained what was going on as it was happening, was excited with us, made us feel welcome and clearly she loves her job. My 20 week scan here we did not feel this way at all and were quite disappointed and felt we weren’t treated as humans just a number but whoever is management there need to look to Sue as she is a gem and all of your staff could learn something from her about patient care

We flew from Darwin for a scan, and cannot recommend AWI highly enough. From the front desk going above and beyond to reorganise other appointments for me to get a slot, to the superb quality of the equipment, it's by far the best scan experience I could ever have imagined. I missed the sonographer's name as I was in a bit of a faff on the day, but she was superb. The level of care, patience and expertise that she showed was absolutely phenomenal. Although there is a lot for her to concentrate on in the appointment, she takes the time to provide information and reassurance throughout. It's very rare to come across someone who obviously really cares about her work. Could not recommend AWI more highly. As a side note, they bulk bill for healthcare profs, which is also amazing if you're lucky enough to benefit.

Words cannot express what a horrible experience we had here. In a moment where we needed kindness, the doctor was abrupt and rude, leaving us upset and with more questions than answers.

My partner has had two scans for our first pregnancy here. Both sonographers were extremely thorough, kind, patient and clearly exceptionally skilled technicians. Our last sonographer was Kerrie whom was amazing, and so so so thorough which we really appreciated for our 20 week scan. Doctors on both occasions were also helpful. Reception staff are also extremely skilled and helpful. Machines used for sonography are also top of the range with great image quality. Highly recommend getting scans here for pregnancy.

I just had the worst experience here. Today was supposed to be my 20 week scan and because of the treatment of the sonographer, it did not happen. It is my first baby and my rainbow baby. My partner came however was finishing up a phone call from work. The sonographer had no patience or compassion and slammed the door in his face saying no phones, which we completely understood, but she wouldn't wait 30 seconds for him to finish. I go in, and she abruptly and condescendingly tells me that she is concerned because I was still drinking my water. I do this with every ultrasound (I've had about 9 due to complications). She aggressively squirts the lubricant on me and starts. I kept saying, "Can we please wait for him, I want him here." She ignores me. She then abruptly starts lecturing me about my bladder not being full (I don't know what to tell you, lady. I drank my water an hour before). I was clearly becoming distressed because she wouldn't wait for my partner and had slammed the door in his face and therefore he wouldn't have known which room to go in. She was rude to me about the water and aggressive with my clothes and the lubricant. I ended up getting up covered in lubricant and leaving. I told her she was rude. I didn't get to have my scan in the end. She came out to explain about the phone not being allowed in the room and I told her I understood that and that the phone wasn't the issue, it was the impatience, the non compassionate attitude and her abrupt and aggressive behaviour towards me. She has ruined what was supposed to have been a wonderful experience. My 13 week scan was lovely with another sonographer so this has been extremely disappointing and disheartening. What an awful experience. I don't plan on ever going back.

It was this blonde lady and because of you and your foul attitude and behaviour, my partner will now not be able to attend our 20-week scan due to his interstate work commitments. We organised this around his schedule and cannot wait for him to get back because it will be too late. I hope you are happy with yourself. You have ruined a once in a lifetime experience for us to have together with our first baby. My heart is broken.
