Receptionist is lovely but I fear the service from the female Doctor is below ordinary.

I had a few issues to discuss an advised the Receptionist (as they need to know to make a longer apppointment)

Once I had a quick question about my second issue, the Dr shut me down and basically said I had to make another appointment. Which sucks because we all work, so it's hard to make that extra time for a second appointment and pay more money again.

I feel like an extra few minutes with a client would be helpful.

On the bright side. She is straight to the point. Doesn't mess around and pretty efficient.

Had an appointment to see them and was told my 16 year old son would be bulk billed on the phone, but when I got there I was told I would be charged 80 bucks to see the doctor. I have been told by another doctor surgery that children 16 and under don't have to pay to see a doctor so there are just money making. Shame on them!

I have been a patient of Dr Ratnams since the 1980s and will never change doctors. He has sent me to exactly the right specialists for bowel cancer and in the last few years for hypertension. I always get an appointment for the same day I ring. As I get older I appreciate even more the care I get from him.

I have experienced nothing but positive, friendly and professional care from Dr Ratnum. Both of my kids have been diagnosed and put on the correct treatment plan first time round and as a parent of two young children it is very reassuring knowing that your kids are going to receive nothing short of the best advice and treatment possible. I 100% recommend seeing Dr Ratum as your regular GP.

Absolutely horrible service. Dr was rude and was unable to do what I came in for, although it had been booked a week in advance and was something they pride themselves on advertising all over their walls (skin check). The Dr was abrupt and offered no sincere apology, even thou I had arranged to leave work early specifically for this appointment. Very disappointing. Will never go back nor would I recomend anyone else do so. Was prepared to pay $60 for the appointment. Glad i didn't as after one phone call, found a clinic that got me in straight away 100% bulk billed and didn't cost me a cent!

Worst ever experience, they are bullies and expected you to pay up front prior to seeing the doctor, not to mention I have never paid to see them before, so if their system has changed they should have let me know prior to me booking the appointment. They called me later in the afternoon to tell me and then told me that if I dont pay then go somewhere else. I called back and told them I could not get in and explained to the receptionist I could not afford the price but could pay 35.00, I asked if I explain to the doctor when I see him I knew he would be fine, so she agreed to let me have my appointment. Oh was I wrong I was threatened and called a "Karen" the doctor wanted I think 65.00 before I EVEN SEEN HIM(I think it was $65.00, it was such a traumatising experience, please do not quote me on the price could have been $70.00). They refused to see me when I said no to paying upfront. Clearly this husband and wife team are ALL about the $$$$. I have seen alot in my life time but to witness and be a treated like a second class citizen and threatened by one of the receptionist she was like I can do what I want and I am now telling you that the doctor has asked me to tell you to leave and if you don't then I will call the police. She then proceeded to tell me to "F" off and that I am a "Karen". I will tell you what I am I am a person who has severe anxiety suffer from PSTD, was extremely sensitive this day and am financially in hardship, and this husband and wife team employ this woman to speak to patients the way she spoke to me. What a disgrace this could have ended very badly for me as my anxiety is at a high and this triggered a Very bad expisode for me. Can you believe that a medical professional treated a patient this way. Read all of the reviews AND STAY AWAY. I WANT TO REPORT this practice because clearly their duty of care is non existent!!!! PS THEY ALSO OWN ACMED GOODNA. I AM NOT A KAREN HOWEVER AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I THINK THIS KAREN BEST GO AS FAR AS SHE CAN BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR HARMS THEMSELVES - IT IS SO VERY DANGEROUS TO DISMISS SOMEONE WITH ANXIETY AND PTSD!!!

Dr Ratnam is a lovely caring Dr & really made my shy daughter feel comfortable. He ordered tests to be done immediately & fit us in next day for results. Lovely nature.
