I recently completed a medical assessment through Absolute Medical centre and I could not fault them. They made it a very easy process and were very knowledgeable with all the ins and outs even though it goes to an external provider. In specifics Doctor Ryan Metcalfe was one of the best GP’s I have ever dealt with, easygoing and really helped me out where he could. The admin staff also went above and beyond especially Rebecca. They would be my main GP if they were a touch closer to home. 10/10!

From someone who struggles with anxiety particularly when it comes to medical appointments, rude and unwelcoming receptionists do not help calm pre-appointment nerves. I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be for patients that are unwell, and therefore more vulnerable, to have to deal with such condescending and disrespectful receptionists. It’s really unfortunate as every doctor I have encountered has been very understanding and caring. Maybe implement an online course on customer service within the medical environment, whilst also including a topic about how to smile.

Patient care beyond expectation. I joined this practice as my parents highly recommended them. After trying to find a reliable and thorough doctor for decades I’m actually in shock to have found one - beyond what I was even looking for. Dr Sergio Perez goes above and beyond for patient care. From excellence in mental health, to a simple rash that has not been dealt with by any doctor and is now gone! Dr Perez puts his time and heart into his patients and spends longer time with you than ANY doctor I have ever seen. I’m more than happy to wait on days that they are behind because I know it’s because of the time and professionalism they put into their patients. Reception is always friendly and I’m grateful for the times that have squeezed me in. I’ve even had a nurse call me in regards to a concern I had. She was extremely helpful and very lovely. Dr Lau is also very lovely and has even called me personally regarding my results (as has Dr Perez). Thank you so much to Dr Perez and the Team at Absolute Medical.

I notice all the great reviews were a few years ago. As I am a patient there. Have been going there for many many years.
When Cheryl was there, all the receptionist were friendly and professional. I have noticed the change. And not for the better! I understated some patients can be difficult. But you don't treat everybody the same way! I have been well, and not needed a doctor. When I became ill, I rang and they said you haven't been here for 18 months. Why did it sound like an accusation!
I told the doctor what was said, and that I was healthy enough, not to have to go to the doctor. Then the doctor said, 'I'll be the judge of that'.
Totally unnecessary. The nurses are absolutely lovely and professional. I noticed the sign at the reception, regarding they do not tolerate bad behaviour or abuse. It works both ways.
Maybe the receptionist could learn a few bedside manners, from the nurses.

Some of the secretaries are very rude & in helpful. Having chronic medical issues and I can't always know when I'll be so ill that I need the appointment.. some staff expect me to be a psychic and know... Now these certain secretaries expect me to drive 32km to & from clinic while being unwell. They need to learn respect I did when I was a medical secretary and help out instead insulting patients who are terminally or chronically ill. The only BEST thing about this place is some of the Drs and nurses are very caring and I have held my outburst of anger towards some of these rude secretaries because of the fact that those few Drs are worth seeing. But I'm no longer going to put up with rudeness from some of these women.

I'm a strong young guy with a functioning frontal lobe cortex capable of critical thought.

I have only visited the doctors a couple times in 5 years or so. So to say I'm a regular is not the case

When I go to the doctors there is generally a bloody good reason for it, on this day there was a reason. My anxiety had shot through the roof due to some recent mandates to which I'm sure people can work out what issue I may have.

I'm not anti anything but I do appreciate being fully informed about anything being forced upon me.

I was seeking the help from a doctor whom I have had for my entire life virtually.
She was unreal during my younger years and did me a great service.

Unfortunately during this entire farce we are currently in her moral compass has been eviscerated. I wasn't expecting magic only a form to have some stress leave to make such a monumental decision. Not only did she refuse that but she went against her Hippocratic oath and refused to fill out an informed consent form to at least give me some understanding.

She betrayed everything she has stood for instead opting for me to blindly follow what she has been brainwashed into thinking. Of course not willing to sign a form to say she and the surgery would be liable if something did happen.

I was left astonished at the tainted viewpoints she along with the surgery have held oh and a side note I was asked 4 times if I had a mask after showing the front door woman whom was very kind that I had a legitimate exemption.

An overall MINUS 5 STAR SERVICE bar the front door.

This is a perfect opportunity for people to consider a holistic approach to medicine as opposed to those that regurgitate the narratives agenda

I'd like to give Dr. Schulze a massive thank you.

The team there are approachable, knowledgeable, friendly and professional going above and beyond to cater for my needs.

A wealth of experience Dr. Schulze was able to speak to me and listen to my concerns. I felt validated. Most people in the health sector don't listen when mums say feeding is an issue. He didn't, he listened to what I had tried and how I came to the conclusion I needed help from him. He gave good information, reassured me, carried out a thorough assessment. Explained the procedure, risks and benefits then carried it out with gentle care.

After the procedure he ensured we were both fine and let me know what to expect moving forward.

Mums out there, if you are struggling to breastfeed and feel something isn't right, he is 100% worth a visit.

I've never been so grateful for a medical professional.

I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years , visiting rarely, recently my health declined and I have been attending almost once or twice a week, I appreciate how difficult life is because of Covid restrictions and as an older person, go out of my way to be patient and polite. There seems to have developed of late a culture of abruptness, condescension and bias shown when calling, not from all staff but from some. If I make a mistake I own it, I have had to wait a week or more to see my Doctor on occasion, an urgent imaging request was completely lost or not emailed or faxed on, when the imaging center tried to correct Absolute's error to assist me, they were met with an its your prob not ours attitude from the call desk, but for the imaging staff (not absolute employee's) persevering I would have been turned away for not having a referral, and have wasted an entire morning, as the imaging specialists book to the minute due to the complex nature of their work schedule and cannot assist without correct paperwork. Yes the error got sorted but it took 30 minutes and only got resolved as a result of imaging staff pushing for a resolution pun intended. I will continue to support Absolute, report card says could do better.
