I've been coming for 4 years give or take with a varying level of care from great to poor when it's good it's good and there's always bad in the medical field.
I have had difficulty with appointments for doctors for a bit, just too long a wait the Drs strung too thin and I have been late on a variety of different medications because of it

I will say social health team I have always felt their care was top notch as well as the nurses I always felt cared for by them, the doctors though hard to get into to see have been good when I needed them to be

The practice really REALLY needs to put time limits on how long a patient can be seen and how many patients they have under their care as well as alternatives in place for people who need more urgent care and can't wait 1+ months. I have finally switched to a closer to home and 3 day wait-list gp and I would probably recommend to those who don't need the specialists to do the same. If someone else can do it faster go through them, the extra services are good but there's always more options and a referral is sometimes faster

I don't go here any more... Even though I'm indigenous, I prefer main stream due to Straightforward appointments, You book an appointment at a Mainstream Doctors and you get seen on time, You book a doctors appointment at ATSICHS Wooloongabba and your sitting around for 2hours just to be seen even though there'd only be 2 other patients waiting..

I agree with other reviews on here as well, It's a long wait just to book an appointment.

Do yourselves a favour and go to mainstream until ATSICHS pulls their socks up 🤷🏾‍♀️

I have been attending this centre since the start of the year and can not fault them at all. The reception are great and always trying to help you out as much as possible. All the doctors and specialist I have seen at the clinic have been outstanding. Been a huge struggle finding medical help in Brisbane, very friendly and comfortable environment and very thankful for their help

Found dental staff to be using psychological methods to intimidate me by continuously altering the appointments. Pre-meditating mental illness or any kind of crime is a offence. Purposely causing harm to another. They should be exposed and dealt with very seriously as there are racially motivated gangs that target us outside the clinics and they go so undetected that its impossible to catch them in the act and even if you do, there is nothing we can do about it.

Very thorough health service for indigenous people. However it is very hard to been seen on short notice or if you have a minor or acute illness or a Doctors certificate. I've been on cancellation list for 5 days so far just for a Doctors certificate for pre existing condition. Very frustrating!

Didn't even get a chance. I've been having issues for a while with pain in my stomach. I thought I could try this centre. My fiance called on behalf of me because I've been so sick and I'm in pain. The receptionist asked if I was aboriginal or Torre straight islander, he told her I was aboriginal, she put him on hold for 5 minutes and comes backs and says we don't take non indigenous patients. He tells her for the second time, well she is indigenous. " Oh well, we aren't taking new patients until August" you would think being an indigenous centre you'd would offer an alternative instead of shooing away indigenous people. Rude as. I genuinely thought I was going to get some proper help and be treated as a person but nope. Disrespectful as.

Doctor damaged my finger with inappropriate use of liquid nitrogen. My once healthy functional finger is now in constant pain and can not bend as far as it once could at the knuckle. Even some 8 weeks of healing. Doctor Hannah did not use focused liquid nitrogen to make less area of tissue damage, even though it was available for her to use. I know this in hindsight from staff I've spoken to at clinic since. One doctor said I have secondary infection, I had to buy antibiotic cream that has done nothing. More time, more expense, more pain and permanent damage and scarring. I have put in complaint with staff and in writing and have had no contact from practice manager or any solution offered to me. Wish I never went there for this simple procedure. Small wart removal on my finger. Should have done at home with chemist medicine but made the mistake of trusting this GP. She did not get informed consent from me, I did not realise the damage it would create to healthy tissue, the pain, the scarring, the lose of mobility at the finger joint. Unacceptable yet I have to just accept this malpractice and gross incompetence.
