Kirstie and her mentor program with OJFC has helped my kids immensely.
Kirstie provides excellent support and feedback that allows them to be confident in their challenges as Junior Coaches.

Kirstie was my mentor when I was a student here.
This is a service that leads by example, the peer led model offers no textbook answers to trauma, just exploring ways to further connection within families and no-agenda support.

My son has participated in the Mentor Program through our local footy club for two years and I have been very impressed with how it is run and the benefits. His wrap up of the past season:
'I really enjoyed my second year in the Mentor Program, as a junior coach with the Auskick kids. I learnt how it’s important to connect with kids on a personal level. For example, knowing what footy teams they go for and some of their favourite players. This helped to get them to listen and stay enthusiastic.
What I really liked this year was participating more in helping the kids by taking charge of some drills and umpiring a few games. Overall I think I really improved my coaching skills.'

Words cannot explain how amazing the mentoring And support and guidance I have received during the last year . I have come through obstacles and now am able to move forward with a fresh start.
