The out patients area is the weirdest run I have ever seen. I waited 2 1/2 hours and hadn’t progressed but there was a young lady in front of me who had been waiting for 4 hours. I ended up leaving without seeing a doctor because a guy completely off his head was ushered straight into the ER and I could see that I would be pushed back even further. I saw blokes come in, use the toilet and then leave. There seemed to be people walking straight into the ER while the rest of us were left waiting. There was no information coming out to the waiting room to let us know what the expected wait time was. I know they were busy but it was absolutely ridiculous and I would certainly not recommend visiting this ER. I will try for an on line consult tomorrow.

I was admited in Moree hospital in the emergency department from Friday night till Saturday afternoon. During the night all the nurses and Dr are very helpful but when morning came, Dr J. Shou took over from the night shift.
She was rude, but also inconsiderate to her patients. She was unwilling to speak to me, and kept making the nurses be her mouth piece. Even when she did speak to me, she was far away and did not explain my condition well, like not telling me which part of my fracture occurred, nor did she follow up with what the night shift doctor planned for me, that a orthopaedic will come check on me.
When the Orthopaedic arrived she just inform them that the scans not done and sent them away.
My review of one star stands on this doctor J. Shou's performance ALONE, as she is rude, inconsiderate, and not educated in manners or respects for her patients.
While the rest of staff was very nice, helpful and considerate. They helped me with my pain, and needs accordingly and with respect.
I would like to give them 5 stars but this doctor made it very difficult to give that review when she alone can ruin anyones stay in the hospital.
I feel sorry for her colleagues and nurses who have to put up with her everyday.

On Sunday my daughter was travelling from Dalby QLD to Narrabri and while travelling had a medical emergency at Moree and the ambulance was called and she was transported to the Moree hospital.
I would like to give thanks to an a very special and a awesome nurse in ER Karita who went out of her way to make sure my daughter was looked after and kept up to date of what was happening.
She is such a bubbly person which makes waiting in ER bearable as we were there till 8.30pm.
Karita told us she had resigned to take a position up in Hervey Bay Qld a big loss for Moree Hospital.
The ER was full and ambulances kept arriving, the waiting room was full also.
There was only one doctor on and three nurses and one of them left around 7pm and still ambulances kept coming.
I think the hospital is very under staffed as one doctor to see all those patients seems wrong and the nurses were run of their feet.
Every bed and room in the ER was full and one man the ambulance brought in was in the corridor for hours before he was taken into the ER rooms.
The care my daughter received was excellent but she was there from around 11 am to 8.30 pm so we were there for hours and I wonder if there were 2 doctors on shift people would of been seen quicker and not so much pressure on the dr and nurses.

Earlier today I visited the emergency department at the Moree Hospital. From the moment I walked in the front door the service was exceptional from the friendly reception team, through to the two nurses and attending doctor, I could not recommend this country hospital more. Outstanding service in Northwest NSW.

I went to the hospital last night 7/4/2022. The staff member who was the receptionist was lovely. I cannot say the same for the nurse who saw me. The feeling I got from her was (how dare you interrupt my night). The nurse made the comment of "I will have to put on all the isolation clothing I suppose". This is not the first time I have had a bad experience at this hospital. Frankly if you don't want to help people DONT be a nurse.

The Moree Hospital staff is very rude i had chest pain today and i was in the room ready but then we had to go out because another person coming from upstairs was coming to be treated but half of the time they just talking to the other staff member. Meanwhile sitting with pain. I had chest pain Sydney and was by professionals and then said i had to be scanned but they even bother and they i think you have this. And we think dont think be sure. It took us 4 whole hours to get out and in Sydney it took us three hours but we were treated very well.

Pathetic the way they treat the elderly.
After asking twice now to make sure my mother is bathed regularly was told she now has an UTI. Since being in there care since Monday night and unable to walk for the first couple of days and now without close attention she was put in nappies.
She is now in worse health hygiene wise than when she went in. They are more worried about getting her to walk well enough to get her out of Hospital than look after her properly. Worse of all she has to be there longer and I worry her health will get worse.
There meals are atrocious which she won't eat so is losing weight as well.
Shame on the nurses on the first floor wards.
