Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the practice. I suffered from postnatal depression and sought help but was only looked at as if I wasn't quite okay and treated without empathy by the doctor. It did ad to the panic I already experienced. I changed practices, resulting in a much different experience with my new GP where I feel much more cared for and taken seriously.

Beware - this is one of the few GPs that charges for toddlers/children. There was no communication or signage in the practice noting this. We were also charged for a longer appointment and paid double. No warning or communication again. Very disappointed.

The receptionist is so unfriendly at this clinic. First impressions matter!

At 1015 am 27/07/23 I contacted Centre Health Medical Centre. After a long waiting period on the phone, I was answered by a receptionist.

I explained to this receptionist that the Dr I usually see my Gp hadn't provided my chemist with all the regular medication I required . As I am a type 2 diabetic patient. I need regular and daily doses of medication to keep me alive.

After explaining that the Gp had forgotten to supply the chemistry Wals at Warilla Grove with one particular medication Lipitor, which is a medication to treat patients with high cholesterol in their blood. I urgently needed this medication and explained this to the agitated receptionist. I explained that I needed the Gp to simply send through the script to Wals via fax and that I would collect the medication later thT arfternoon. The receptionist was rude and very impatient at all times and definitely insensitive to the seriousness of my circumstances reg the urgency of my medication being needed. She simply informed me that my Gp had many patients that he needed to attend to and that he was far too busy doing so. But she said she would email him and request that in his spare time to fax through to Wals Chemist my request for Lipitor .

At 545 pm this afternoon, I called Wals and spoke to one of the Chemist onsite, and he checked to see if a script from my Gp was sent through via Fax as I was informed it would be Unfortunately, he informed me that they had not received such a script from Centre Health Medical Centre or from my Gp .

Now I will have to re contact Centre Health Care Centre at some stage tomorrow. I will go through this arduous process all over again just to get my medication scripts sent to the chemist.

Now, how hard can this task me . I ask everyone who may read this long but in-depth review .

Just rang up (as no other doctors local to us would make space) for urgent assessment of our young asthmatic daughter. She had breathing issues and turns out a bad lung infection. Reception answered on the first thing, was super friendly (unlike the other clinics I had called) and fit us in immediately. The doctor was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave us exactly the treatment we needed for her to get better quickly. Highly recommend and very impressed!

Dr are great. The worst receptionist I've ever met. Rude and will hang up on you mid conversation. Then won't answer your call backs.
