I have followed Dr Mumford from various practices and this is by far one of the best. Waiting times are reasonable, many services on offer and the receptionists are always friendly and take a genuine interest in how you are.

EDIT - 12/08/2024 Wanted to update this post to say the service has not changed. In the past 4 years since the initial review, booking times have exploded, making a booking can take a couple of weeks to get in. Once done though, waiting times are still very quick. Reception staff are the kindest most prefessional from any practice I have attended.

Sorry to see such negative people posting one star reviews. I'm sure there must be another side to these stories, as I have always been treated with the utmost of courtesy and respect by reception staff and doctors alike. Rest assured, they will not just randomly hang up on you ?

Was a great practise but obviously become to busy to attend to their patients and is only a business now not a caring doctors surgery unfortunately.I dared complain to Kasey Mumford (who reviews her own business below) about the 4 weeks it takes to see a doctor and was kicked out of the practise!! she suggested i was intimidating towards a receptionist which i totally deny. When i try and contact this so called practise manager the number she provides is not connected .I left a message and waited for her reply (obviously lack of care) for half day and decided just to call the receptionist to apologise if she had felt intimidated.Thanks for your prompt reply Kasey and I'm so sorry to make a complaint(how dare I) about a service that's gone downhill quickly and the price go up.
Just for the record I asked the manager of this business how was I rude or what she alleged?Her reply is I don’t know? I also asked how long is acceptable to cancel nurses check up appointment also she couldn’t or wouldn’t answer . The receptionists and doctors aren’t the problem and it stems straight from management and it seems Kasey isn’t the person for this job! You seem to want to discuss other peoples problems with your business but hang up on me when I raise problems?Maybe your not as truthful as you think? I hope you viewed the video footage I suggested you look at of the alleged intimidation? Thanks for your time Kasey I suggest you don’t be such a nasty person especially in your business of helping people

Attrocious and disgusting!
My teenage brother has been struggling with his mental health and his ability to get out of the house and attend appointments. After weeks of discussion he finally agreed, despite having to book 2 weeks in advance to prepare himself to be ready to go himself.

The day of, we ring to make sure everything is good to go, mention that he isn't double vaxxed, not because he is anti-vax but because he hasn't been able to leave the house. And they not only cancel his general check up but his mental health check up too!
What kind of doctors cancel mental health appointments the day beforehand for a teenage boy!
I understand we've got to be COVID cautious, but he hasn't been anywhere and the rest of the household is double vaxxed, and we were willing to wait outside to complete all the paperwork and go immediately into the doctors office when ready. This was our stepping stone to get him out to get vaxxed.

If this is how you treat your vulnerable, I'm worried about everyone else!
We've been going for ages, despite having to book weeks and weeks in advanced to get in.
Won't be back!

Was able to book at another practice around the corner, for today and tomorrow, no issues and completely understanding. That's how you should be!

Att; Corey Grant, Whew & I Thought it Was Only ME!!, I Back You All The Way & Re-Post Every Word of Yours!, Ive Been "Hung Up" by Dr Mike's Receptionists at Least 100 Times Just in the Last 12 months!..
It takes me 2-3 days!! Just to find the Courage to Ring & TRY!!! To make an Advanced App. Ive been a Patient of Dr Mike's since 2015, Ive followed him from 2 Dr's offices to Where he's Opened That One! & Admired his Courage as a Young Man Opening There= Given there's at Least 5 Other Dr's Surguries within a 2 Minute Walk from Where he Is Now!, I Was Worried he'd Fail But he Thrived!, Then Aprox 14months ago Things at The Desk & Phone with Receptionists Went NASTY & Downright Evil, I Presented for an App.During the Tail End of Covid & the No longer Enforced wearing of Facemasks!, (I Got Screamed at for Walking IN & Not Wearing one!,), (Ive Been Legally Exept from Wearing them since day 1 of covid!,), The Yelling Continued & I Honestly thought The 3 at Receptionists desk were Fighting!!, & the Yelling Wasnt Directed at Me But It Was!!. At That App.Lucky Dr Mike Wasnt Available Becoz I Was LIVID!, (& If id been Able to Turn & Run id have Done So- Never to Return, The Attending Dr Heard the Verbal abuse & Appologised to Me,, My Next App.was with Dr Mike & I Told him About That!, & That Receptionists Were Downright Rude & Nasty!, He Assured me he'd Talk to Them, (In Hindsight Its Obvious Now That his Wife Felt She Was In Charge & The Power Ruled All Sanity, Things Settled for a Few Months UNTIL He Opened The Canabis Clinic!!,
For eg:I Rang on a Monday for a Dr's App at About 12.30pm!, I Got Kathy Or Susan, All I said Was Can I make an App.Please?, She went Ape babbling On about being SO Busy & She was There All Alone So Could I "Ring Back Tomorrow "!!, I said "No" I Need a Drs App.Please & She Hung Up!!!, I Rang at 8am the Next day &Got Same woman, She Immediately Before I Could say More="I've Put you On The Emergency Triage Cancellation List & Hung Up on Me!,, Ive Later Noticed a Missed call from Dr Mike So I Rang Back & Got Extreamly Rudely Abused "That The Dr Rang You,!, You Didnt Answer So he's Not Available, Ring Back 8am Tomorrow & Hung Up, I Rang Back! & Asked What her Problem was & She said I'd Waisted Their!! Time, Ive Then Explained I had No Idea How The Triage Worked!?, I Spent Everyday from 8am Until 6.15pm Holding my phone,

Receptionist are rude and dismissive, not flexible with their ‘rules’.
I’ve called to make urgent appointment, I have several serious health conditions, including organ failure, I was told they don’t have slots available, was advised to call again next day and see if anything becomes available.
When I asked what if there isn’t anything would she then put me on a cancellation list for the day, she said only if you call before 8am.
