I highly recommend the Kings Cross Clinic. Dr Gavin Allison has been my GP for years now, since my last doctor retired. He's a gem. Very patient, knowledgeable and kind. The wonderful history of the KXC is what made me choose it in the first place, but it is Dr Allison, Ros in reception and the other lovely staff that keep me coming back (well, that and being old!)

Kings Cross Traveler’s Clinic is such a lovely, family run practice, and every time I return I feel welcomed. Dr Gavin is kind, thorough and patient, and Ros on reception has been helpful on many occasions to get me in last minute. There is also what seems a great lineage and history in the place, with the walls filled with signed photographs of famous Hollywood stars, speaking to the long running charm and reliability of the place. Highly recommend this practice.

As a health professional myself, the standard of care and respect I was shown whilst trying to make a booking as a new patient was beyond believable. The receptionist was asking the reason for my visit ( which is a private matter ) and said that he won’t see me and I should see another or my own doctor. I said that it is not up for her to make that decision as reception staff, it’s between the Doctor and myself. She then said “ Well I will just say now that he’s not taking any new patients” again i stated that it’s not her role or decision to be making. She then left me on the phone and asked Dr Gavin Allison ( while I could still hear the conversation) where they both laughed and mocked me on the phone. As a patient dealing with a sensitive health related issue, i have never received such terrible service and as a registered nurse myself I am appalled that a clinic and health professional can behave and conduct themselves in such a way.

Dr. Gavin Allison was my late mother's attending physician at Lulworth House. Even though Dr Allison is clearly a very busy doctor, his timely professional and compassionate attention to her for any medical issues that emerged during her time at Lulworth was greatly appreciated. If you need a GP in Sydney this is the Practice to visit. I saw Dr Gavin Allison this morning. A very caring professional doctor. I was seen straight away on a Saturday morning with a post op complication. Gavin was very thorough in his examination. My husband & I were staying in a nearby hotel for the weekend, so were not locals. Gavin was not rushed & he rang my local Surgeon to liase my case management & provide the correct treatment as I required hospital admission.It is so refreshing to receive such care and attention in a busy city environment.
