I visited quality medical practice 3 times over the course of a week to receive treatment for an infected wound.
This has got to be one of the sketchiest GPs I've ever been to. Arrive at reception to be greeted by a receptionist who has no idea what's going on. You can see on the counter in front of you (not on the receptionists desk) confidential medical information about other patients.
The third time I visited I waited over half an hour past my appointment time with no communication from the reception staff. I had another appointment to make, so left after this time.
Go into the doctor's office and now we're in for the real treat. Dr Aboud's clinic is not what you'd expect in a GP's office. The desk is littered with miscellaneous pill bottles, papers and scripts. The walls are covered with photographs of the doctor and religious paintings. There are numerous guitars in the corner. All of this is fine, albeit a little eclectic, including the music which plays loudly in the office.
Treatment from the doctor was fine. I had a cut that was getting infected, so he cleaned the wound, dressed it and prescribed me antibiotics. All pretty straightforward. I went back twice at his request to redress the wound and check how it was progressing.
The problem I had was the doctor's demeanour and attitude. I think in those 2 exchanges he only said a dozen words. He was not personable or open to discussing the treatment he was providing and why he was providing it.
On the plus side, they do bulk billing, so the treatment was free. For a minor injury like mine, or a vaccine, going here is fine, albeit a bit unpleasant. For any health issues you need to discuss I'd go elsewhere.
