Catherine the receptionist is very rude !!!
I went to get my blood test done and the nurse couldn’t take any blood and was only getting air !! She was blaming me for not knowing how to do her job properly and said I didn’t drink enough water so I went elsewhere for my blood test and they did it straight away on the same day. The drs are good but the reception staff need to be more professional and welcoming because I feel stressed every time I have to speak to them.

Disgusting to get a phone call this morning to say Dr Jody S will not see me because I have not been there for 8 months. When you’re sick and can’t get an appointment you naturally go somewhere else to be seen as quick as possible which happens all too often in the coast. Now once again I’m left with no appointment so thank you Wallarah Bay for your outstanding compassion for a now ex patient

I have been a patient here since they opened up some years ago.
Best Doctors you will find anywhere.
The only downside is you may have to wait longer than you anticipated on some occasions due to the fact that the doctors there take time with their patients because they actually do care. Quality rather than expediency.

We were told when we arrived there was 2 appointments in front of us. Apparently that amounts to a 2hour wait. Admin staff were rude and unhelpful only solution offered was I can cancel your appointment. Numerous people came and left while we waited. I understand doctors can run late and that I have no issue with what I have an issue with is the attitude and utter lack of customer service and communication. No issue with the doctors but I would rather die from medical complications then deal with their admin

Update So I tried to make another appointment here today as I wanted to sort out some travel vaccinations.

Apparently leaving a negative review here creates a conflict of interest so they refuse to see me. One would think they would use criticism to make improvements but this medical centre uses as an excuse to deny service when the Central Coast has a huge doctor shortage.

Katherine or Kathy is a nice and care while another one is so cranky. She shows her hatred and rude. She showed no care for patients. Yasmin is a good doctor there and Tamara.

I've been looking for a new GP for awhile now and decided to give this place a go despite the reviews.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
Dr has zero personality, no attempt was made to get to know me and my medical concerns. Reception staff don't seem overly interested in what they do either. No smiles, no welcome etc

I booked an appointment today to have a major penetrative wound looked at, for signs of infection, and for the wound to be closed, it was left open by ED in the event it became infected and needed to be drained.
I Advised at time of making appointment what I needed, my appoipment lasted 10sec when I informed the Dr why I was there he advised that's not his job, refused to treat me. "I can take your dressing off and look at it but thats it, Your finger won't fall off, come back when there is a nurse" why take my appointment if you won't do what is needed?
Now sitting back at ED with nurses and doctors in shock that a medical profesional would behave this way.

Saw the Drs here for 4 years, but was advised the clinic was going private via text 2 days after they already did. I have been battling breast cancer for the past couple of years, and my Dr at this clinic has been overseeing all of my care in regard to this. Being in cancer treatment means a very reduced income, meaning that I cannot afford the now $70 fee to see my regular Dr in order for him to continue my care. Today I was denied 2 referrals needed for my oncologists, unless I paid the new $70 fee, which, once again, I was only advised of AFTER the transition to private, meaning that I had no chance to wrap up any business with my Dr before moving on to a place I can currently afford. As a long term patient here, I was denied care for cancer treatment because I could not afford $70. Avoid. This place is willing to leave patients in the lurch for very serious treatment after giving no notice about new fees required. My Dr here was amazing, but the reception staff lack serious empathy and professionalism (referrals and scripts not faxed during teleconference only availability was an ongoing issue that I put up with to continue seeing my great Dr). Not a private level clinic at all.

Dr Shah has been one of my doctor's for many years now.
He has a kind heart, is very wise and actually listens to his patients.
It's a shame the place no longer bulk bills which means that going to the doctors can be costly, even though we get a certain percentage back from Medicare, it still takes a bite out of my wallet.
However, it's not just this medical centre that does this. It's many others as well.
