My mum has been a resident of Heratage Care ILLAWONG and in the time she has been in here we have found all the Staff are all so caring the cleanliness is amazing the food and the care is second to none the love they show to all the residents is incredible I would highly recommend if you are thinking of your loved ones care to really consider it. It was hard for us to contemplate putting my 100 year old mum into a nursing home but it was one of the best decisions our family have ever made thank you to all the staff and management for all your love and care you give my beautiful mum

Heritage Illawong have been excellent in the care of my beloved mother. The staff are so caring and helpful to Mum and myself - if there is a health problem they contact me immediately - the rooms are nice, bright and very clean and even my fussy Mum liked the food. I cannot recommend Heritage Illawong highly enough and thank them sincerely for giving me peace of mind knowing that Mum is so well cared for.

The care that our mother received during the number of years she was at their facility is beyond exceptional. (Sadly, Mum passed away on 19th June 2023)

Heritage Care is highly recommended - the cleanliness is of a high standard; the honesty and integrity of the staff is to be admired. Mum’s cloths were always clean and looked neat and tidy and name tagged by Heritage Care, considering that they must be washed 60 degrees to alleviate any germs.

We were always consulted by the staff in any matters that concerned her. Even when she lost weight one of her rings was found in her bed the staff contacted us to collect her jewellery.

Tess and Malti's commitment to excellence and dedication to all residence should be highly commended.

Do not place your loved one into the hands of Heritage Illawong Aged Care, if you love them. My mother and sister were placed in the same place, under the previous ownership (Sir Thomas Mitchell Aged Care). The level of care was excellent. REALLY excellent. Staff were on a first name basis, food was excellent and the care was similarly excellent. As soon as Heritage took over, 30% of the staff were let go and the level of care fell dramatically. Few familiar faces can be noted on each visit. Avoid.

PLEASE PLEASE don't place your loved one in this horrible sad hospital looking place! I was lead to believe it had changed and improved from 9 years ago when my father in law passed away there but sadly it was all a facade, all lies. My 91 yo Mum has mild cognitive impairment, is physically totally independent, she was always a strong self assured dignified lady and after 3 years being there she is fragile, sad, and has had her spirit crushed. Everytime I purchased good quality clothes for her linen pants/tops, took photos of them showed receipts they disappeared within a week. Even her undergarments were "lost" took her to David Jones to have her properly fitted spent nearly $200 on 3 bras and bang! Gone... and PLEASE DO NOT allow them to keep any jewellery there - they will refuse any responsibility for "missing items because of Page 15 of the Agreement" Absolutely ignoring their LACK OF DUTY OF CARE. My Mum had her 48 pearl Mikimoto pearl necklace and matching earrings stolen but they blame her because she has mild dementia, her 2 gold chains also gone, 3 pairs of HomyPed shoes covered in MOULD had to be thrown out, her room was dirty with filfth under her little fridge. Not even Management from their Head Office had the courtesy or compassion to reimburse her for her shoes or clothing - nothing. Take my advice do your research, go there and see it...it's a very depressing environment, don't believe all the lies they'll tell you.

This is nursing home that has been apart of the neighbourhood for over 15 years now. Great place for relatives that need help and can be kept close by in a nice environment. There is a newly build wall blocking off the sounds and cars seeing into the side units. The nursing home also takes care of it's appearance, it always looks like a nice place to live on.

The place you can call home for the elderly people. Starting from the carers, cooks, cleaners, laundry staff, handyman, nurses, admin staff, RNs, managers each of them are friendly, easily approachable, trained and experienced in their filed. I have not heard to say no to any one, always ready for help even for a visitors. Highly recommend this home...come and visit.

If staff aren't treated well, don't expect your customers to get proper care. Rajendran (general manager) is unprofessional and has no empathy. He does not have the customer and staff wellbeing as his priority. Don't be fooled by his sales pitch.
