The new girl on front desk needs to hone her customer service skills instead of taking the piss with her other girlfriend that's there at times. She is rude, has massive attitude and is nothing like the lady that usually there. This surgery changes its pricing every two seconds and considers a 14 year old an adult. It's a pathetic surgery. This is the result of private practices who want yo book back to back and care nothing for their patients. A very greedy owner.

Got my baby's appt booked 2 weeks in advance due to upcoming immunization, on the day of the appointment I received a call to tell me there was no nurse available for us, so we either need to reschedule to the earlier time slot which is our nap time (and our dad needs to drop his work and drive us in the middle of the day) or there will be no vaccination. No apologies for the inconvenience, no trying to soften the punch, I asked what was the point in booking 2 weeks in advance? Then I asked to register my complaint officially and come up with more convenient options, which I was hanged up on by the manager of that place. I called back and asked why she hang up as we didn't finish the conversation, she said I was being rude and aggressive which I understood she took my words that way because I wanted to leave an official complaint. She couldn't specify which exact words were rude or aggressive, I have call records on my phone, as it automatically records all phone calls. We were having a serious conversation, not a friendly chat about our appointment for vaccination being cancelled, was I supposed to smile and giggle?
What was rude and unprofessional is the actions of that "manager" who 1. Hanged up for no reason; 2. Actually verbally abused me by calling me adjectives and names in the conversation with my partner, who can testify in court for that; 3. Didn't apologise for her actions and the inconvenience even when being asked to, didn't acknowledge anything I said.

And this was the Manager of that place!
I and my husband then figured out why she didn't like me, it's probably of the accent, like I'm not soft Australian speaker, I have precise articulation and teacher's tone. So no matter what I'm saying I sound strong, but there was no offence, no trying to insult anyone, no names, swearing, etc However, she on her end actually used words to insult me. Which having an official position doesn't give you the right to insult people for wishing to register a complaint and should be punished.

And the most interesting part is that we had to come earlier to catch that nurse for vaccination, my partner dropped his work, I woke up the kids from the nap and guess what... The appointment was not even booked with our Doctor whom we visit all the time! That manager obviously made a mistake and re-booked us with a complete stranger! So they have CHANGED BOTH TIME AND DOCTOR to make us as much uncomfortable as possible!!! That was the bottom of "unprofessional" for me, I'll think about that more and I'll go further on that, cause there should be actions taken after something like this.

Waited 15 minutes on hold to make an initial appointment then on the day of the appointment waited another 40 minutes even though I was there 10 minutes early and there were literally four other people waiting in the practice only to be told that they needed another 15 minutes until the doctor was ready. The practice was not busy and the receptionist didn’t even know if I was the next patient when asked.complete What an unorganised mess. I was going in for a simple referral which Would have taken literally minutes. If I could give zero stars, I would. On top of this as a business owner they’ve just managed to waste over two of my hours including travel thanks a lot. Glendale medical Centre you’re kicking goals..

I am genuinely surprised by people's comments on here, I've never had a GP office run on time, I feel it's the nature of dealing with humans and people who have unexpected illness.
I'm new to this clinic, and was impressed with everyone I encountered - the reception staff were excellent (and gave good advance advice on the phone ahead of things I needed for my appointment), they were friendly on my arrival. My appointment with Dr Kelso was thorough and my vaccines with Rodgers was friendly and informative (and I got some fantastic travel tips).
They were very well equipped with travel vaccine advice, which I have not experienced elsewhere.
Besides a small delay in my appointment (which I had expected), I couldn't have been happier. I feel well informed, thank you.
Note for anyone visiting, this is quite a large and busy clinic.

Am disappointed with the reception.Rang a month ago to book for child’s vaccination and rang on the day to confirm appointment as I didn’t received a text reminder and was informed by the reception that there’s no booking made when it was clearly stored in phone’s calendar. Because of their mistake, it has caused inconvenience and disruption to our schedule and other appointments.

*Update: replying to Victoria’s response - my child and I are definitely in Glendale medical centre records and I’m definitely not confusing you with another healthcare provider. We have to make another appointment the next day and visited the centre on 12/5/23.

Incredible dr, so kind and listens carefully to what you’re saying! I will 100% be going back as my current go was booked out and often dismissed what I was saying, I’m so glad I’ve found someone so helpful and understanding.

Let's start by saying I've had great doctors and the nurses are lovely, however it's a different doctor each time, most left during covid and there's NEVER any appointments. You ring and it's always we are booked out for the next 2 weeks ?
