As a first time mum who was very certain about wanting to breastfeed I decided to look into a lactation consultant to ensure baby and I would have the best start to our breastfeeding journey. Janis was very helpful and informative prior to babys arrival with going through my history to once baby was here with latch, positioning and comfort for me while feeding. Information was also given as a brochure/booklet which had a lot of really useful information before baby was born and after. Janis was able to check baby for any tongue or lip ties as well. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to breastfeed! Thank you Janis

Being a first time mother in the times of a pandemic with scarce and very un-hands-on support available from traditional avenues (local health clinics, hospitals, mothers groups, doctors/medical centres) Janis has been an absolutely life saver.
I reached out with a baby who I thought was unhappy with my lack of supply and with Janis’ supervision we realised I have an over supply which was easily corrected with leaning back and feeding and strategic use of a dummy. My baby also had slow weight gain and Janis has been ongoing in support of this and helping me with my doctor make strategic decisions that support my daughter to thrive. Janis’ warm nature has resulted in my husband taking time off work when we have a session booked just so he can be a part of it and ask questions. Also having her available for sms support has been so helpful in reassuring anxious nerves as a new mum!
