This practice is conveniently located. The staff is friendly & proficient. I have always found that I am treated with consideration & respect. My practitioners have changed over 20yrs but to my fortune they have always been pleasant , knowledgeable & compassionate.

My family has been going to Kotara Family Practice for 10+ years since moving to the area. The doctors, nurses and admin staff are warm and friendly and always ensure you are in the best care. They always prioritise children and go out of their way to make it a positive experience when visiting for healthcare. I would recommend them to anyone!

I’ve been attending Kotara Family Practice for over 10 years and if I could give 6 stars I would! They have the best staff and best doctors I have ever known.

Great family practice. They have served my family well over the last seven years. The practice generally has very good doctors, and I have never had such bad experiences from the receptionists as some of the comments here suggest! I have certainly been in far worse practices than this one, and considering the state of the health system as a whole this place is a shining beacon of hope for the rest. Good on you KFP.

If I get told my debilitating pain is due to my trauma I have been working through FOR YEARS, one more time when my physical health should be looked at for all options I will actually scream

Doctors charge individually. I paid $122 for a 17min consult for 8month old baby. Each doctor decides what they charge and may not apply health care concessions. I have never had a doctor there that has not rushed me or my children out the door, even once ushering us out without children properly dressed. Receptionist tried to charge me $95 for immunisation and when I questioned it, it was rectified to $55. Staff have openly agreed that high medical fees should be applied to children! I only go to this practice because it’s close and cannot get into another practice. If you don’t mind paying high fees for doctors and staff who are unpleasant then go to this practice.

So many issues with this service. At the last appointment I was triple charged for a basic doctors appointment and still left without being assessed/treated correctly. They refused to give me my own file previously. My child is not allowed to attend the practice with me. I'm forced to find a new practice for him even though I have been attending the service for various years and it saying on there Facebook page and website that their books are open. The doctors are neglectful and you can wait up to an hour and a half for an appointment that you could be triple charged for. Upon giving my review as well I was then harassed by the service and accused of having the wrong service after having the evidence of these allegations. Looking forward to reporting the service. Hoping no one else has to experience such poor service from a business.

A family member attended this Practice very recently. Extremely disappointed with the outcome of the Dr's visit. Personal questions asked about my daughter's experience being gay, the Dr was lucky I wasn't there, I would have told her that Homophobia is a personal problem, that she has....and not what is appropriate behaviour from a GP .! ?
