Don't normally visit CTH, but booked in an emergency. The massage therapist I saw left me feeling really uncomfortable, and I didn't feel listened to during our session.

I went in for neck pain symptoms that needed immediate nursing/releasing, but instead we went through a "diagnosis" process that took half the session time. When I offered the information from my PT, GP, and current physio to back up my claims and get to treatment faster, the therapist insisted further that he needed to diagnose me himself, not helping at all with the immediately painful area.

Biggest red flag: When I asked him to stop touching a particular part of my body that I found traumatic and painful, he didn't listen, and instead continued to touch/prod/shake the same body part. I was crying on the table in pain and humiliation, and STILL this therapist wasn't treating the area that I needed help with! And didn't take "no" for an answer!

I understand needing a thorough examination, but I felt completely dismissed and objectified. There was no bedside manner, very little empathy, and he ignored all my actual concerns. I left still feeling tense and shocked by the whole experience. I won't be going back, and I don't recommend this clinic.

I've had back problems including spinal surgery for the past 25 years and having seen various specialists for years without much change I'm delighted with the improvements that I've felt since I began seeing Claire Simmons in May 2013. This is a professional and friendly practice and Claire definitely goes out of her way to improve all aspects of my health. I feel so much better since I've been going to Central to Health, I would highly recommend them to anyone with pain or health problems!

Central to Health was recommended to me by a friend. I saw Dr Claire Simmons, and found her to be extremely professional and outstanding at her job. The practice is clean and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. Not only was I pleased with the hands on care I received but I also learnt a lot from Claire about what the causes of my problems were so I now have a better understanding. Highly recommend!

Its the best thing to have in my community. I have always suffered with a bad back and neck. Being in the cleaning business i have always suffered back pains and shoulder and neck from carrying the vacuum cleaner.......I saw Dr Claire Simmons and she recommended a 6 weeks therapy session, I was hesitant at first as I have been to a few chiropractors before but they have only relieved my pains temporarily. Since seeing Dr Simmons, I hardly get the back pains and neck pains I used to get...Her therapy really worked for me. Her colleague is also great....Fantastic job you have done to me Dr Claire Simmons and associates. The staff are all so friendly too.....

Bec, Shane and the team are like extensions of our family. They care about the health and well-being of their clients, are straightforward with advice and recommendations, incredibly helpful with products and supplements without ever being pushy.

They have a great sense of humour and are really effective in their treatments. I cannot recommend Bec enough!

I was a sceptic to start but am more than pleased with the care I've received. When I've asked, the underlying principles for the techniques have been very clearly explained and my symptoms have been significantly alleviated. I have gone from chronic headaches related to lower back issues, to virtually headache free. Claire is very perceptive and has a great sense of humour, making the sessions relaxed. I recommend the practice without reservation.

The new location is conveniently located for the city, eastern suburbs, and inner west.

Having aggravated a pre-existing condition in my back I met Claire hoping she could alleviate the pain. Not only did I walk out feeling much better but over the past year and regular adjustments my back has been kept in check and I can just get on with things. The practice is great and the team there is very accommodating with my erratic schedule. Highly recommended!

I am one of the CA's at Central to Health. I love our new location. Abbi and Claire are wonderful chiropractors. Their patients always comment how they love the care the Dr's provide and how the always feel heard. I would recommend Central to Heath to all my friends and family.
