Incredible service provided by Emma and Tina, Hawkesbury Private Midwives. As a first time mum feeling anxious about pregnancy, birth, and becoming a mum, having this service was the best decision I ever made! I felt supported and heard throughout the entire experience. Can't recommend their service enough. They are amazing women who left me with great confidence, and a positive birth experience that I will forever be grateful for.
The other services at the family health collective were also wonderfully supportive throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. This is a wonderful centre that offer considerate and person centred services.

The Hawkesbury Family Health Collective is exactly what the Hawkesbury needed!
My family have been lucky enough to have had Emma’s private midwifery care when I welcomed my first baby and her breastfeeding knowledge as an IBCLC was so valuable to me! Amber is such a knowledgeable chiropractor who I trusted not only through pregnancy but also with my whole family including my new baby. And Brooke has been so supportive in my postpartum recovery and made me feel very comfortable in her care.

We attended the hypnobirthing classes with Cat and we learnt soo much and watched over a dozen different birthing videos and this really helped us normalise the birth.
Cat gave us all the tools we could need and we implemented them and stayed positive throughout the birth.

My journey started in 2020 when I met private midwife Emma Fitzpatrick for the pregnancy and birth of my first child, I knew I wanted continuity of care, but what Emma provided went above and beyond my expectations. Whether its for pregnancy, birth, postpartum or breastfeeding Emma is the woman for the job. She is so kind, caring, intelligent, skilled and a truly exceptional human and midwife - words cannot express the profound impact she had on my whole families life - its true what they say, you cant afford to not have a private midwife.

While I was pregnant Emma recommended me to the amazing Brooke Blair from Her Health Physiotherapy. My whole life I had struggled with pelvic floor problems, urinary issues etc etc. Within 1 appointment of meeting Brooke I had answers I had been searching for, for 29 years. She treated me throughout my pregnancy and I believe all pregnant women must see Brooke - she is one of a kind. Brooke taught me how to push out my baby, which came in very handy after a prolonged pushing phase and her support through my post partum recovery was exceptional. I was blown away when Brooke was able to successfully treat my pregnancy reflux - which I was unable to manage with medication!

Finally the amazing Dr Amber Duff - the most holistic and patient centred chiropractor I've ever met. I had used a chiro on and off for years, but I was yet to find one that really gave me the individual treatment that I needed. Dr Amber had been recommended to me by Midwife Emma and many friends for years by this point. It was the most profound treatment, she just knew exactly where my tension was and what treatment I needed - she was intuitively at one with my body. My husband and myself continue to see Dr Amber and we are always so impressed with her skills, knowledge and expertise, not to mention we always have a good laugh with her.

HFHC really is a collective for the whole family, whether you need pregnancy support, breastfeeding support, support for your new-born baby, children or even the ageing population - this is the place. This clinic is just incredible, something the Hawkesbury has needed and now the most experienced and qualified practitioners are all in the one place. Do yourself and book an appointment, you will not be disappointed.

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful and important Hawkesbury Family Health Collective is to the women and families of the area. I have been seeing these practitioners individually for years and was so excited when they announced they were combining forces in their Kurmond location. I’ve regularly seen Amber (chiro) myself and have taken my two boys to her on/off over the years. Sometimes I wonder if I book the appointments for the body ache relief (thanks pregnancy, birth and all that goes with parenthood) or for the banter. I love seeing her regularly and always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Brooke (physio) has seen me through two pregnancies and is now helping me return to the sport I love playing. She is supportive and realistic in her care, and her elbows are magic on those sore spots (if you know you know). Emma was my midwife for the recent birth of my son, her care is second to none, and I just love seeing her regularly when I pop in to see the other ladies. She always has advice for whatever parenting/feeding dilemma I’m facing at the time; and always stops to catch up and see how our family is doing. All three women were imperative in the preparation for my last birth and have helped so much in my recovery, physically and mentally. As a mother they provide a safe space to feel held and I can’t thank them enough for the amazing services they provide the community.
