Wouldn’t recommend. I originally came here because I was dealing with a lot of upper back, shoulder, and neck pain. After my first initial session, Phillip said I’d need around six months of treatment to fix it. After about 3 sessions I mentioned I was having trouble breathing, and he told me it was because my ribs were out of place. He adjusted them, which just left me in more pain, and my breathing didn’t improve at all. Later, I found out my ribs were never the issue; it was actually just my body being overstressed. So basically he was feeling my ribs for nothing and lied to me. Quite concerning that he would actually lie to me about my ribs being out of place and then “adjusting” it when it’s actually fine.

Over the course of all my sessions, he only gave me one exercise and kept saying I needed to keep coming back. He even brought up some six-figure side business he runs and said he wanted me to work for him. He never gave me the name of the business, any proof of the business or any extra info, just felt like he wanted to keep dragging it to keep me coming to sessions. He said he could pay me up to $2000 a call. It also honestly felt like he was making my issues sound worse than they were just to keep me paying for more sessions.

Also requested photos of my scan and they
didn’t send it through or reply to my message.

Philip told me I’d feel better after five adjustments, but I didn’t feel any different. Reception also said I’d get a free session with the head chiro, but never followed through to give me that session. Overall, it really felt like they were more focused on getting money than actually helping me. Don’t recommend

Dr Phil Huynh is a thorough professional. My husband had X-rays and assessments first with Phil, and I feel like we are literally in good hands. Phil puts our X-rays on screen during each adjustment to compare our pre-treatment spines to what he can feel presently in order to make the necessary manipulations, and track the progress of our treatment.

We’re already feeling the benefits of just four weeks of adjustments, and trust Phil’s ongoing advice and attention to our particular issues. Every adjustment feels like one more voodoo pin removed from the pin cushion. I’d happily refer Dr Phil and Burwood Family Chiropractic to anyone interested in short or long term treatment of pain, awareness of what habits might be causing ongoing issues, what you can do to remedy and prevent issues, and fixing how things are (or aren’t) articulating in your body.

I had the best experience ever at the clinic. Being someone who has never had an adjustment before after my first adjustment I felt such a difference in my back and neck . Dr Jeremy is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and other team as-well. I can firmly say my back has never felt this good.

Met with dr Phil and we agreed on a long term care program but unfortunately my situation had to change and I had to cut my contract short as I will be living too far away from Burwood.
Initially I told him about lower back pains and shoulder pains.
Just after 2 adjustments my shoulder pain has pretty much gone away and lower back pain has felt so much better.
I would definitely come back if I ever move back closer to Burwood!

Very happy with my experience here so far, Dr Jeremy is very knowledgeable and thorough, he uses an evidence - based approach which is why I chose to start my treatment journey here.
