My father had been a respite care resident in Goondee at the Strathfield facility for little over a month and he recently passed away peacefully.

I thought of writing this short message just to express my sincere feelings as to how well my father was looked after during his stay there.

Right from the General Manager Operations to the Registered Nurses and all the other support staff, they were extremely cooperative and ready with a smile to extend any help that we required. They made my father’s final days very comfortable.

Again, thank you for being there for our family in such difficult circumstances. I highly recommend Goondee to anyone who is looking for an absolutely clean and well managed care facility, with friendly and dedicated staff to look after your loved ones well.

My mum is in Goondee Aged Care for 60 days (2018 to early 2019). We are extremely happy with the service; the place is clean, the staffs are very caring and always ready to help. The nurses are aware of each of resident health and prompt to act if there are issues. My mum was well look after, she is clean and her room is clean and most important of all she is happy. Jason the accountant is very helpful in all aspect of admission and accounts. Highly recommend for respite care.

Would like to share how great the staff are, from the time your in. The staff are so caring, they understand the needs of the patient and also the family, its a small group. I would recommend this Aged Care to anyone.

My wife recently entered Goondee, having done so I am delighted that she now reside there, the Professional and Caring attitude that Management have is outstanding which then rubs off on all the fantastic & caring staff, nothing is a problem for them & they treat all house clients with complete respect, it's as if there was one large family at Goondee.
