My experience at Chemist Warehouse Burwood South was extremely disappointing. As a patient who has lived overseas for a long time, I need to obtain a six-month supply of medication from my doctor each time. Yesterday, I was told at another Chemist Warehouse that they were out of stock and advised to try a different branch.

Today, I went to Chemist Warehouse Burwood South, hoping to pick up my remaining medication, but I encountered a Middle Eastern male pharmacist with a Mediterranean hairstyle. His attitude was extremely unfriendly and uncooperative. He told me that I had already picked up my medication once and could only do so once a month, displaying clear annoyance at my explanation. He even coldly stated, "This is not my problem," completely unwilling to listen to my needs.

I tried to explain that I required this medication as I would be living overseas for more than six months, which is very important to me. However, he rudely responded that he was "too busy and didn't have time to make a phone call" to confirm my doctor's advice. The store was not busy at the time, and I felt his attitude was highly unprofessional, making me very uncomfortable. As someone suffering from severe depression, this kind of treatment exacerbated my anxiety and could potentially worsen my condition.

I hope Chemist Warehouse takes this issue seriously and improves their service quality so that patients feel more understanding and support.

I don't know why some people gave a bad review about this lovely CW as they are just open less than 6 months ago. I reckon people misled this good one with the existing 2 that was located on the same road in Bwood....which is unfair for this shop!!!
I have a few times shop in this CW and I found all the staff are very friendly, including the chemist (whom are always arrogant and very rude in other CW stores!)
I always come back to this shop and never has any problems dealing with the staff and even I find them extremely friendly and helpful. Keep it up CW Burwood South!

Very nice spacious store with friendly staffs. I went in feeling low on energy and fatigued. A staff, Rabeya, explained that long-term use of Somac can sometimes lead to a vitamin B12 deficiency, which might be the cause of my symptoms as I have been taking it for a long time. She suggested I get my levels checked, and it turned out I had very low levels.Thanks to her advice, I was able to address the issue and start feeling better. I’m so grateful for her genuine care, professionalism and knowledge.

I was overcharged so I walked back into the store and explained the price I paid at checkout was more than the displayed price.
Rabeya explained to me staff had forgotten to change the price tag so I can either keep the product at the higher price or get a refund. I told her I wanted to be correctly charged for the price as displayed.
I had to go back and forth with her, and deal with her attitude because she was reluctant to comply with ACCC regulations and refund me the price difference.
What a joke, trying to fool customers like this.

Most of time there is only one pharmacist there, today I was told to wait 20mins but when I got back after 30min, had to wait another 15-20mins for the pharmacist to be ready!

This is my 3rd time here. I found that the price of the product is not the same as the website. They put up a pink sign but the price is the same as the full price. So I went to another branch next door. The same product, discounted price, is the same as the website.

They have the worse service, they pesaron who attends in the prescription area doesn’t help at all and it’s rude, look at the customer like they all got Covidc even tho I have my mask and I’m wearing properly she steps like 3 meter away, yelling what I need.

The most horrible service i’ve ever been provided in Sydney in my entire life. Untrained staff, rude and angry manager who refuses to just give me a modified receipt for a partially canceled order by the store. They play the blame game and change their mind, the manager thinks she doesn’t need my authorisation to cancel my existing order which she was holding in her hands because she feels like it. She thinks it doesn’t hurt to double and triple pay for the order just because she feels like she wants to cancel. Her exact words were like “ what do you want what do you want” when i wanted a proof of purchase and she is quite convinced she can’t give me the receipt because she cant.
