Robert helped me for years through the darkest times of my life. He taught me how to re-wire my brain on top of relieving a multitude of other personal mental health problems. He’s straight to the point, he allows you to think for yourself while being a professional guide helping you access pathways within your psychological mind. He won’t tell you what you want to hear, he will tell you what you need to DO to help yourself.
These poor reviews calling him cold and heartless are obviously from people who seek validation and pampering, not psychological help.

If you truly struggle with mental health then I highly recommend Dr Robert Thomas with a 10/10

Although Robert has some skills to share and teach in regards to processing events and experiences *mentally*
He has poor reactions to peoples emotions and can be unprofessional, very cold and standoffish.
He will not help you with any documentation, written support or letter writing even after *years* of seeing him.
Did not diagnose my complex ptsd even when I told him I believd I had post traumatic stress - he undertook the regular PTSD diagnostic. Years later I was diagnosed by 2 other professionals with complex PTSD, a condition Robert was not even aware of. This is very dangerous and caused me more harm and years wasted not getting the right treatment. It is not acceptable as a clinical psychologist.
Would not recommend for people with any kind of trauma.

My first visit and sadly only lasted 30 min into the session. I had to leave after being judged and labelled. I was asked why I came to see him? His reply was that of scepticism, disregarding and cold. I thought it would be a place to get support, instead I left feeling sick and even worse than before I visited, when I got home I had to take extra anti depressants and anti anxiety pills. The last thing I needed while sharing my vulnerabilities was being hit by judgemental and reinforcing cruel negative labelling. Especially from a psychologist.
