Dr Chueng is my GP for at least 17 years since my kids were newborns. The receptionist Yvonne and Carol was great too. I don't think they're rude is just they don't want to waste time talking to new ones. They get really busy, especially taking phone calls. Overall 💯

Dr. Cheung has been my family doctor for the past 30 years and has been great. Even though I don't live in Marangaroo anymore, I still make the effort to drive 15 km to see Dr. Cheung.

Regarding the people upset with the receptionists and giving 1-star reviews, Dr. Cheung is old and is on the verge of retiring. He doesn't want to take on any new patients.

Before I start, Dr Cheung himself is great, hands down one of the best GP in town. Caring and attention to details, really trusted him for my family.

But the switch board operator/ receptionist has to be one of the worst in Perth. I called to make an appointment to see Dr Cheung, the lady couldn't find my file then said they don't take new client and told me to see my usual doctor. I explained to her Dr Cheung is our family doctor, but I have been fortunate enough not having to see any doctor for myself in the past few years. She didn't care and kept going on about how busy their practice is and don't want to take on new patient. After repeatedly telling her I am not a new patient but just not having the need to see a doctor for awhile, then she said she has to speak to the practice manager to see if they will take me back. At that point I felt like why am I begging for an appointment with her, so I told her I wanted to speak to the manager. She didn't care about my complaint, but she wouldn't pass my call to anyone else.
I can go on for longer, but at the end I told her to get f and hung up.

New to the area and was trying to find a pathology centre. Receptionist was so rude just pointed toward the shopping centre and sternly said it was in the shopping centre. From that experience I will never consider this practice, would rather travel 40 minutes to my old gp.
Also when I walked in was overcome with some weird smell, couldn't put my finger on it but not what any other medical centre I've been too smells like.
