Have seen Dr Loy and Dr Jones. Both are legends.

Dr Loy is knowledgeable and empathetic. Have seen her several times, and always a positive experience.

Dr Boy was on leave and Dr Jones squeezed me in. Really good, effective. Clearly very experienced.

We're lucky to have them serving the neighborhood.

I highly recommend the practice, I and numerous members of my family have seen a variety of doctors over many years and each of them have been courteous, highly professional and pleasant to deal with. The admin and support staff are also very professional with good communication and follow ups.

I’d highly recommend Doctors Vanessa Hyde-Smith and Boey-Leng Loy, they do inspire confidence in the quality of care I’m receiving and have gone the extra mile.

Dr Vanessa Hyde-Smith and Dr Louise Owen are amazing and their knowledge and interest in helping their patients is above and beyond. They are holistic, open-minded, non dismissive and well informed about conditions that most other doctors are not aware of or willing to explore. All other staff have always been friendly, professional and helpful to deal with including reception, nurses and the skin specialist Dr Paveen Vasantharao.
This is a really great practice and unlike many out there.

This is not a practice that I would recommend attending. I understanding providing information and consulting services however GP is more interested in her personal or supposed 'professional' view than what I actually want for my own body. Do not even bother trying to have a conversation with the Practice Manager. You will not be listened to and Practice Manager just talks right over the top of you. Save your money and go elsewhere that is more customer focused and works with you as a patient as opposed to against you. It is time to come into the modern world OVMC and listen to your patients otherwise this is exactly when things go wrong where people die or end up in hospitals...

My husband and I have recently transferred here just to be able to stay with our GP, Dr Jones whom we have known for many years. Dr Jones is a wonderful Dr, very professional, compassionate, supportive and caring. He is a credit to the medical profession, a Dr who actually takes his time with patients. Nothing worse than be rushed out the door, especially at the cost you pay for an appointment. I looked at the reviews on here, and was quite concerned it had a very low star rating. I hope we won't be disappointed by the move we made as it cost to transfer our medical records and not to mention it is expensive for a consultation. A shame bulk billing has gone.

Receptionist are the problem I have been waiting for my Dr to call me back for over a week now obviously he has forgotten the Receptionist keeps telling me( if he said so he will do it ) when I try and ask her to remind him or even just let him know I have called again they hang up on me not coming to this center again they have been rude from the get go

Timeliness: 20 minutes past appointment time (pretty normal).

One receptionist was warm and friendly, however the younger one was short and cold.

Booked 2 weeks in advance with chosen doctor based on her care interests listed on their website. Found doctor quite cold and aloof. I had disclosed our Indigenous decent for purpose of child’s immunisations. I didn’t feel the doctor truly wanted to care for us. It felt forced. The nurses giving the vaccinations were much warmer but I won’t be bringing our family back to this practice. I was very casually dressed but I don’t think any of these factors should affect our experience and quality of care.

I’m still searching for a kind and friendly family doctor since we moved to the area.
