It's currently my 3rd week of attending the hub as a participant (1 day per week). I've really enjoyed the environment and atmosphere they have created. All staff and participants, who I've met so far, have been lovely. I've enjoyed drawing and socialising so far. I'm also grateful for the accommodation of dietary requirements with the breakfast and snacks they provide.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rachael Diston! Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for her clients truly sets her apart. From the very beginning, Rachael went above and beyond in every aspect of her role, ensuring that all of
clients needs were met and that my client and I (support worker) were supported in every way possible.

Communication was always clear, prompt, and compassionate. Rachael took the time to listen, understand unique situations, and provide thoughtful guidance tailored to any circumstances. Rachael never hesitated to go the extra mile, whether it was coordinating complex services, navigating challenges, or offering emotional support during difficult times.

What really stands out is Rachael’s deep knowledge of the sector and her ability to advocate on behalf of her clients and team members.

I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact Rachael implemented within our care team.

If you are looking for a support coordinator who genuinely cares, is highly skilled, and will work tirelessly on your behalf, look no further than Rachael. Highly recommend!

Ceased services on me because I requested support booking a dentist appointment. Currently have a severely infected tooth requiring antibiotics and unsure how to get them.

NDIA advised navigating systems such as public dentistry and advocating for disability rights & support is a support coordinator role, though my support coordinator refused to assist. Escalated it via a complaint and they simply ceased services.

Also incorrectly billed me 6 hours support coordination for onboarding when that’s an administrative task (not even a single phone call or appointment with them). Said they would reverse invoice after I questioned it but still waiting, reporting that to quality safe guards too.

Edit: The company is now threatening to report me to quality safe guards for 'fraud' because I asked my plan manager if something was claimable, and for claiming 70% of uber eats for a short period. The first was never lodged as my plan manager explained it wasn't claimable (how is an enquiry fraud!?), the later I had planner approval and my plan manager said I can claim the 70% rate... They're literally trying to threaten me for leaving a bad review!?

They're also still adamant that assistance navigating government systems isn't their role, despite NDIS guidelines.... To quote the guidelines: "find NDIS, community and other government services you can access" https://www.ndis.gov.au/participants/using-your-plan/who-can-help-start-your-plan/support-coordination/what-your-support-coordinator-should-do#faq-3931

"identify and discuss the range of available NDIS, informal, community and mainstream supports (including other government and community services) "

I am so thankful that Glady from Glady & co took a risk in taking me on due to my complex physical disability. I would like to thank all the team here as they have worked tirelessly to support me 18 hours per day, 7 days a week and have been amazing at what they do. 12 months on it has been a success story.

Avoid! Quick to sign you up, tell you what you want to hear, and then drag their feet. Good at using all your SC funding at the start so you can't move.

I have been attending Glady & Co for 2.5 years and it has been such a life saver as it is given me a better quality of life. I have made many new friends and being able to socially engage and connect with others has helped me not to feel so socially isolated in the home. The staff who work here also have a lived experience and they are extremely approachable, welcoming, supportive, caring, empathetic and I feel inclusive.

Glady and Co is a wonderful service for people who might otherwise be socially isolated due to their illness. The comradeship and social interaction is of great benefit to all of us. Many friendships have been formed during our time shared.
