I would recommend Miguel Lopez from Grief Australia to anyone who is thinking about getting some support with coping with their loss. Miguel is such a kind, understanding and supportive grief counsellor. He is amazing at what he does, no doubt about it and you'll certainly be in good hands. So for anyone not sure or sitting on the fence about opening up to a stranger, I fully support his work.

Grief Australia is a professional organisation who supports individuals to process and come to terms with experiencing the loss of loved ones, however they also acknowledge grief comes in many forms. I found the counsellors to be professional and exceptionally present and supportive. I learnt a great deal about grief and felt genuinely assisted in dealing with my emotions regarding the loss of 3 family members over 4 years. I can’t thank Grief Australia enough. 🙏🏼

Grief requires a unique set of skills to survive the pain and loss and to become the new you without the special person you have lost. I found that the counselling sessions that I received at Grief Australia were gentle and guided me towards healing. They encouraged me to view my loss with a different lens. I am not healed, nor am I 'fixed' but I am stronger.
