Our family is so lucky to have Dr Ly as our doctor. He is knowledgeable and extremely care for his patients. I know sometimes he runs a bit behind the schedules. But that’s because he cares about his patients and doesn’t rush his patients out. I can find lots of GPs run on time and rush my appointment through but I can’t find a second doctor who cares about his patients like Dr Ly.

The service here is shocking!

Outlook drive medical centre has been our go to clinic for when need medical attention or advice. My family and I have been coming here for years and years and we have built quite a strong relationship with the doctors here- especially Dr. Tracey and Dr. Ly.

I am shocked and upset at how bad I have been treated by the receptionist here recently.

One occasion was when I called the medical centre and spoke with Fay. I mentioned to her that I have an appointment with Dr. Ly- I know that he is usually behind schedule so I simply asked Fay to just give me a call once Dr. Ly is ready to see me as I will just be waiting outside in my car. One very simple request.

Fay was extremely rude to me on the phone and had said that she can’t do that because she is “flat out” also she is not a receptionist where she can just call me whenever I need, as she mentioned. She told me to just come in and wait because she doesn’t have time to give me a call.

I got to my appointment on time, went to go inside and the door was locked so I called Fay again. She opened the door and without any greetings she rudely asked what time my appointment was and said that I will have to wait in my car and she will call me when Dr. Ly is ready.

Makes no sense right. This conversation escalated very quickly and poorly as she brushed me off and kept on saying to me to go wait in the car she’s too busy.

The doctors here are lovely but I wish the receptionists would do better at their job.

Appointments need more punctuality; it shouldn’t inconvenience anyone to wait more than 30 mins for their rightful bookings.

Been only waiting for 58 minutes for the doctor. I am sure he is great but it’s unreasonable to make your patients wait for that long especially when they have to stand outside in hot weather as you can’t accommodate them inside due to restrictions. Even inside is no better as doesn’t seem like there is any cooling in the reception. Won’t be coming back or suggesting to anyone to come. I understand they are busy but they need to be mindful of the patients time as well.

I totally agree with the previous review in regards to Dr. Ly (Lee). When I saw him, he was incredibly rude with a laid-back, arrogant attitude. He called my name from behind the reception desk, (assuming that I knew which room to go to), when he saw that I wasn't sure where to go he said ('second room') and then proceeded to chat to the receptionist for a few minutes while I waited in the clinic room. When he eventually did appear he did not greet me or ask why I had attended the clinic. He just started reading out information from my medical record!! (some of which was incorrect - he had read it wrong....I actually thought he had the wrong patient details). His clinical skills left a lot to be desired as well....definetly not a thorough examination. He did not listen, did not show any indication that he cared. He did not educate or communicate anything to me. Very nonchalant and unprofessional. Dr. Miriam Tracey at this clinic, however is fantastic! The complete opposite - thorough assessment, caring, great communication skills. Shame she does not work there more days.

Firstly: Appointment times exist for a reason. You're not supposed to pull a time, for the patient to see you, out of your ass and then have them waiting 1 1/2 to 2 hours in your damn waiting room.
A highly unprofessional clinic. The general practitioners are not punctual to the agreed meetings at all. Its disgusting.

Secondly: patients are just numbers to the GP I've experienced. When a client has crippling depression and the so called "General Practitioner" could care so little about his client that he just throws a prescription form at said client then moves him on, we have a serious problem.

Honestly just run the opposite way. Find a different practitioner; ANY practitioner.

Hi, I've been a patient for Dr Trung Ly since my eldest son was 4 years old, at this time Dr Ly was working at Parkview Clinic in Narre Warren, my son is now 14 years old and Dr Ly is still the Doctor i go to when my family is not well even though he has moved to Dandenong. Dr Ly is a very passionate doctor that thoroughly examins you and explains everything, he is not like any other doctor that just looks at you and rushes to finish to get to the next patient. If you don't understand what he is trying to explain to you, he will go beyond and print out the information you need or he will guide you to a site that will explain it. I would highly recommend Dr Ly to anyone, he is a great doctor, doesn't matter if your single, have a family or an elderly he just makes your appointment more personal.

I refuse to go anywhere else!!! Every single doctor is professional and take their time with the patients so they don’t miss anything. They may run behind but that's because they're performing their due care and don't want to miss anything. THEY ARE THOROUGH!! NB - Reception are second to none !!
