I have been an inpatient on and off over the past 5 years. I can honestly say that most of my stays have been comfortable and staff that I have been assigned to me (Tatiana & Stephanie) have been amazing. Especially on the Magnolia ward.
During my stays on the Olinda ward I have had the the privilege to have been assigned Dhana who takes all the time I have needed when I was having break downs. Lauren who encourages with her heart and not her mouth. Bernie who works at the TMS you feel so comfortable and is so professional with the work she does When requests are asked all nursing staff have gone out of there way. Last but by no means least my phychiatrist Dr Dan & his assistant Dr Shawn have my best interests at heart. I can not praise them enough Dr Dan listens talks with you and not at you. Thank you for all your amazing care everyone. I takes more than one to make a team. I am certain I have mine and will never change.

I have been an inpatient as well as attending all of the outpatient classes the hospital has to offer. I cannot praise the mental health department enough for helping me so very much.
I have suffered with my mental health for 20 years and wish I had found this place years ago. Thanks to the mental health support I have been given I am actually living my best life possible - something I never thought possible.
If you are scared and afraid like I was, please don’t be and get help sooner rather than later. They really care.

Wouldn't feed the food to my dog and the psychiatrist promised me everyday x 11 days in a row that he would see me that night but did not see him once during that time. Psychologist(s) are fantastic but you only get 3 visits per admission (even if you are staying 90days or more), the cleaner Darlene is lovely she talks to you everyday (I think the hospital and patients would be at such a loss without her as she is almost like a psychologist to us 😊❤️. There are noticeably 3 nurses that actually do their job whilst also going that extra 100miles: Marion, Lindsey and Tim

A one. because of the rude .uncaring ..receptionist ..she needs to learn some people skills ..didn't say hello just stayed in her office sitting down ...not welcoming at all very indifferent..get to level 2 and the nurse doesn't even introduce herself just states the room number and points .

This place feels like a maze. So many entrances but very few signages, finding the mental health consulting office was a complete nightmare.
