Dr. Greg is a wonderful doctor who consistently demonstrates professionalism, kindness, care, and patience during every visit I’ve had at Monash University Health Services. He provides outstanding support for both students’ physical and mental health. I’d also like to highlight Nurse Mrs. Brown, who administered my vaccination today. She showed excellent technique. so gentle that I didn’t feel a thing and shared lots of laughter, making the experience truly pleasant. Cheers!

I called this clinic at Clayton to book in an appointment with a counsellor and GP after a traumatic event, and the receptionist was impatient and said "you're taking too long to make a choice and hurry up as some people might be wanting to call but get held up". My brain tried to process, and I was in tears after the receptionist hung up my phone. Please, be gentle and patient when dealing with patients.

Then I ended up going to see a GP here. It was more than 30 minutes of waiting, I then got up and asked a receptionist and she barked at me "Get in the line there", and pointed the other receptionist.

I was confused as they sometimes had two or three receptionists open, so it was actually one receptionist open for registrations etc. I did not know that but at least please do not yell, and say it a good manner.

I then moved to the other receptionist and asked if the GP was here (my appt was at 10 am). She then checked that the GP actually had some emergency cases. I met the GP at 10.45 am. Well, at least the receptionist could have told me if the GP was running late or handling some emergency cases, but ZERO.

It was quite traumatic the way the receptionists either on the phone and at the desk handling patients. Please send them to join professional development or learning so they can improve better. Monash University, I know you can do much better!! I wanted to give a half star, one is too good for this kind of service from the front desk.

Dr. Steven Ho is an outstanding doctor – professional, patient, and very thorough. He carefully considers each issue, prioritises effectively, and even gave me helpful referral advice that saved me money. I especially appreciate that he speaks Mandarin, which made it much easier for me to clearly express my concerns and fully understand his explanations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a caring and thoughtful GP!

I have never encountered such a rude receptionist. It was honestly impressive. Whichever woman was sitting furthest from the entrance on the morning of the 21st of may,I hope you get whatever issues are having sorted because oh my. The GPS are decent.

Experience with Dr Darren So was great, super knowledgeable. However, the pathology nurse with curly blonde hair was rude and dismissive. I was a bit clumsy because I had never been to this particular clinic before and she was barking orders at me and was generally unimpressed. I know sometimes we all have a bad day but I can see by some of the other reviews that a few of the nurses seem to have this ongoing problem

Been here multiple times, and every single time was traumatic.

Tried to call, but my phone was hung up multiple times. Receptionists ignored me on purpose (I could tell because they were snacking and as soon as I was attended to they struck a random conversation with each other). The one who attended to me was also very rude, cutting me off every mid sentence, then replied with “sorry what was that”. Finally saw a doctor for physical health and mental health. Was rudely brushed off for my physical health (the conversation didn’t even last 3mins) and for mental when I requested to get a referral to see psychiatrist she asked “why?” And then proceeded to give all sorts of unreasonable excuses to prevent me to see. Saw a counsellor, and she told me to “go do some exercise for your mental health then come back to see a counsellor”. Not to mention while I was balling my eyes out and talking she just took a tissue right in front of me, got up, to take her water bottle, and while I was very uncomfortable she started staring blankly at her tablet screen, with no interest and attention?

If one day I jump off the building this clinic would be one of the reasons.

I am beyond disgusted with the behavior of the receptionist at this clinic. My friend and I went in to inquire about vaccination services for our placement and from the moment we walked in the receptionist was visibly unwelcoming. Instead of a friendly greeting we were just dismissed with a rude and hostile “Can I help you?” as if our presence was an inconvenience.

When we asked about proof of vaccination on our Medicare account, she arrogantly responded “Yes but you have to have them translated into english on your medicare vaccination record.” My friend and I were so confused what she meant by that because she took one look at us and immediately assumed we weren’t Australian or that our records weren’t in english, purely based on our skin colour. Absolutely insane subtly racism. When we confronted her she disagreed that it was racist! Even if we were international students that comment was completely unnecessary and condescending.

And this isn’t an isolated incident. There have already been multiple reviews about how this clinic treats people of colour especially from the older receptionists who have a reputation for being outright rude and dismissive. It’s even more concerning that Monash constantly preaches equity diversity and respect in every class yet allows staff like this to create a hostile, racist environment for students.

As someone who works as a receptionist at a GP practice I know firsthand that treating every patient with respect, regardless of their background is BASIC decency.

A university medical clinic should be a safe space for ALL students but this place is an absolute disgrace. Monash needs to take immediate action because right now this clinic is failing the very students its supposed to serve.

Should’ve checked the reviews earlier, First year nursing student trying to do my placement compliances and I live 2 hours away from the monash campus.

It was disgusting how I checked in normally, 30 minutes before my 2:45 appointment (I wasn’t expecting anything really, whether it was at 2:30 or 3pm, it happens I understand its busy), I recheck with the receptionist at 3:10pm and she was very nice and comforting, said that Dr Darren So had an urgent Patient to handle and I was okay with that, that it wouldn’t take too long.

3:45 rolls on by and I’ve been sitting and waiting for an hour and a half, let me remind you that you need to take a blood test and for the blood test I hadn’t eaten a single thing. I’m sure a normal practitioner can expect that I had been fasting since the morning and had some remorse for my experience.

I finally get into the appointment at 3:50 because the kind receptionist saw me still waiting and called for him. 5 minutes out of that appointment with absolutely nothing but a sheet to take a blood test, I walked 2 minutes and I ring the bell hoping the person in there would sympathise with me.

I’m left with only a paper and 7 hours of my life gone, theres no point in going just go to a GP. Do better.
