The dermatologists are fantastic.
The front desk has one person looking after visitors and also answering the phones.
The UV rooms are most often empty bur it still takes upto half an hour to get in for the 20 second treatment because the receptionist is alone and unable to cope.

Dr Isaac Lee was amazing with my 8 year old. My son has been battling a very painful condition for over 3 months and was traumatized by the gp taking a scrapping from his head when Dr Lee said he needed to take another one I thought he would have a meltdown but the way Dr Lee and his nurse
treated him with patience and care was great to see and he was very gentle and hardly hurt him at all.
And after only 3 days of treatment the difference in the condition is significant.

For anyone Who is struggling with a keloid, this is definitely the place to go.
Over the past few years I have been to dermatologists, occupational therapists, and plastic surgeons about treating my scar but nothing has worked. However after just a few months as a patient of Professor Michelle Rodrigues, I can confidently say that my scar is almost completely invisible. Professor Michelle Rodrigues so nice, kind and reassuring. She knew exactly what to do as soon as I told her what was wrong and thanks to her I no longer have to worry about my scar. I spoke to Tayla on the phone today, and let me just say—she was amazing. Patient, empathetic, and just an all-round great human.

I first called Chroma last week after a glowing recommendation from a friend who said A/Prof. Michelle Rodrigues changed her partner’s life. She specialises in brown skin, and after Googling her, it’s clear she has some serious credentials to back her expertise.

I’ve been struggling (still am) with severe eczema, and my dermatologist in Preston is incredible (but i had to drive 1 and half hours to get to her, and that was only because she had a cancellation on that day), I didn’t realise how bad my condition was until she told me. When I first contacted Chroma, a different lovely receptionist informed me that Dr. Rodrigues wasn’t taking new patients and that the waitlist for other doctors was months long. That was disheartening—not just because I had my heart set on seeing someone who truly understood my skin, but also because I couldn’t afford the $400+ consultation fee (even with the Medicare rebate). It’s frustrating that in some areas of healthcare, if you can’t afford it, you just have to wait and suffer, and it might affect your quality of life. But I digress.

Now back to my call with Tayla. She really listened—both to my financial concerns and the fact that I already have a dermatologist but needed a more accessible clinic. Instead of shutting me down, she put me on hold to check with management and came back with a solution: I could come in bulk-billed, with a small caveat. I was so grateful, I gave her instant feedback on how much I appreciated her help, especially after a poor experience with another local clinic earlier that day.

I don’t know Tayla’s background, but she sounded young, and I can tell her heart is in the right place. More importantly, it reflects the values of Chroma as a practice. They clearly have high demand and could easily turn people away, but instead, they are still finding ways to serve the community.

Another showing of doctors who only care about making money and not worrying about any patients I rang for my son who is suffering from horrible psoriasis would not except his referral because the doctors name wasn't on the referral was told by another dermatologist that it is accepted as long as the referral hasn't been used and states online that you can use a referral without the doctors name in question? So chroma makes up there own rules it seems also stuff member Waa very very rude

I'm glad they said no I found a much better dermatologist who doesn't come up with made up rubbish

Don't bother here money hungry psoriasis isn't worth there time it seems ?
