Stepping into Max Employment is a bit like entering a parallel universe where hope comes to die and mediocrity is rewarded with a ticker-tape parade.

It’s a place so devoid of actual employment assistance that you’re more likely to find meaningful advice in a fortune cookie.

In this Kafkaesque nightmare, job seekers, armed with nothing but their wits and an internet connection, somehow manage to navigate the labyrinthine hellscape that is the modern job market, only for Max Employment to emerge from the mist, claiming credit like a seagull swooping in to steal your chips.

The audacity of these glorified paper pushers, presenting themselves as the cavalry, would be admirable if it wasn’t so utterly tragic.

They’re less a bridge over troubled waters and more an opportunistic toll booth, charging you for the privilege of swimming across.

It’s as if you’ve been adrift at sea, fighting for survival, only to be “rescued” by pirates who then charge you for the lifeboat ride.

This isn’t just a missed mark; it’s a masterclass in the art of daylight robbery, wrapped in the flimsy guise of ‘job assistance.’

The stark reality is that these agencies, with Max Employment as their poster child, have managed to commodify despair, packaging and selling false hope to those already on the brink.

Their success isn’t measured in job placements or lives improved but in the sheer audacity of their claims and the depth of their billing invoices to the government.

Visiting Max Employment for job help is akin to visiting a vampire for a blood transfusion. The only difference being, at least with the vampire, you know upfront that you’re going to get sucked dry.

Welcome to the grand illusion, where the unemployed are the product, taxpayers are the investors, and the only jobs being created are for the bureaucrats who’ve managed to turn human misery into an Olympic sport they’re winning gold in.

This place is an absolute racket and like the numerous agencies like it, cost taxpayers millions.

I’m really dissatisfied with my experience with Max. I paid for my own courses when I lost my job in February, as I had a broken ankle at the time - I wasn’t medically cleared to be working with Max to find employment during this time... Now after paying $480 out of my own pocket, I’m told I can’t get a allowance for uniform, as technically I’ve only been with Max for 3 weeks. (I had a 2 month medical certificate from February)
How is this fair when I’m ready to start work?
Really horrible service for a company that makes money off ‘getting’ people work.

Change your job provider immediately max is so dodgy. Empty promises, wasting your time, asked about my personal life. Contacted centrelink letting them know they didn't assist in getting me a job and booking me into bogus seminars that don't exsist. Even sick with covid they still call to harrass me about reporting my earnings. My pay day will not be yours. This company has done nothing. I cannot believe they are still allowed to operate. Reported to the department. So glad centrelink have released me from.this despicable company

If you are taking the time to read the reviews for this company, I suggest you switch job providers immediately. The fact that this company calls themselves a job provider is laughable, as they have not done anything to help or provide assistance in job search. These guys only exist to obtain a wage from the government and harass and belittle the clients that are forced to deal with them.

My own experience over multiple years at various locations with this company has been disgusting. They will not make the effort to call; they spend their time wasting yours and lowering your job prospects. Various employees have shown a utter lack of regard for clients who experience difficulties in obtaining and keeping jobs due to personal circumstances, including but not limited to physical health. They take advantage of clients who do not understand the legality of what they are signing on for. You are not required to sign anything you are not comfortable with and do not let them pressure you into doing so. They are only trying to complete their targets and change contracts without the consent of their clients.

Please care for yourself and do not provide this scam of a company any extra revenue by allowing them to be your job provider.

Not the right place to get help if your not exactly ready to work. Was sent to my doctor 3 times in the same week because they kept telling me the medical cert the doctor used wasn’t a Centrelink one when it was and had a centerink barcode but didn’t say “Medical Certificate” they made me feel like I was worthless. The only positive was that people looking and ready to work would get help. For new persons sent to Max Fankston if your not happy request to be transferred. They aren’t great with people who have any mental health issues. They don’t care and CAN help on their end but send you to centerlink instead because they are trained NOT to remove or change activity’s that one cannot attend due to mental illness or any illness.
After having a Centrelink review the lady there was very nice and had told me many people have had issues with Max Employment Frankston. Now I’ll be going back to my past Hob provider that we’re helping me with my barriers and not questioning my ability’s or asking for medical evidence for anything I say I have or am diagnosed with.
Overall they seem to get people work but again f your not capable of working they will make you feel like crap. Thanks for your “help?”.

I’ve only had to deal with these people a couple of times & both times have been extremely helpful and friendly . My son is also affiliated with Maxx employment and the lady he deals with I believe is Bianca is the loveliest kindest person, she gives him ongoing support and more importantly confidence. I was in the car with him the other day when she called him and she went above and beyond & spoke to him like a friend . They have never met as my son has only been affected with job loss since covid , so all his appts have been phone ones.
Hats off to all of you working there trying to help people

I was on the job seekers clam with Centrelink. while having the clam I have been to 3 different max employments (Cranbourne, Wonthaggi and Frankston). When I was living in Phillip island I got a casual cleaning job at a caravan park 6 months ago (with out the help of max employment) then I have recently moved to langwarrin (still working at the island until I find work closer to home) I still have to apply for the same amount of jobs a month but Centrelink won't pay me anything because I earn to much money but I'm not working enough hours going but max employment. Every time they call or when I call they ask if I have found any work and when I say I have, then they ask where and for how long and I tell them the same thing every time. Then they want me to come in a minimum of two days a week to make up my hours which is to difficult as I get called in to work when ever they need me. And to top it off Recently my grandmother has gotten very stick and has been in hospital for the past 6 weeks and I haven't had the time to get to the appointments with max employment. I have called max employment to let them know two times (which they haven't done anything) they have called me in the middle of the day when I'm working then when I call back they let it ring for so long, finally when someone answers I get told the Person I need to talk to is on lunch break now I have had my clam cancelled I have called them and I have been told there there is nothing they can do I have to go back to Centrelink and restart a clam from Scratch. Cranbourne and Wonthaggi were so much more helpful and not to mention nice. Definitely going to get transferred to Cranbourne now

Great place for those that want to do the bare minimum to get benefits.

Allegedly has great facilities to work with.

Repeatedly hearing staff are focused on crossing t's and dotting i's to maintain 5* rating, than supporting people that are actively going into the workplace, seeking gainful employment.

Positive:- Proactive Company overall.

Negative:- Communication Max F'ston
