I have to give the biggest shoutout to Shelana she is truly amazing! This clinic is one of the busiest I’ve ever seen, and yet she handles it all with so much grace and professionalism. No matter how many phone calls she’s juggling or how many patients are waiting, she always greets everyone with a warm smile and a kind word. Makes my day everytime I see that friendly face

Got referred for an ECG paid $90 for this referral that was never sent. Two months later, they sent details to the cardiologist. Once results were in I received a text that I need to book an appointment for my results. I called to confirm that there would be no cost for the appointment as it is a follow up from my previous appointment. I was told correct, no cost associated for the results appointment. Once I had my appointment they invoiced me another $90 for a 5 min appointment. These people practice in bad faith.

Today they sent me a bill of $90 for a 30 second phone appt I had 14 weeks ago. The doctors there are barely worth a free consult, let alone $90.

Don’t bother. If you actually want to be treated with care, and have your health concerns addressed instead of them being completely dismissed go somewhere else. Dr Bradley Hull would be the only practitioner worth seeing, only if you can wait the 3 plus weeks for an appointment. And only if they don’t cancel the day of your appointment. Absolute joke.

Have come to this practice various times but have not been in 12 months. Called up for a Telehealth appointment as I have Covid and am isolating at home. Receptionist told me that was fine and booked me an appointment. Doctor rang me and said I could not receive an Telehealth appointment because I hadn’t attended in over 12 months and gave me no help in regards of what to do. How is someone supposed to receive a same day medical certificate if they cannot attend physically to the clinic. Absolutely ridiculous! Will not be coming back here.

After moving from another medical clinic - I tried 3 different doctors at HFMC, while they were okay I kept trying out other doctors to find someone who I felt actually listened and not just looked at me and made diagnoses based on my physical body type.
After years of everything being blamed on my weight (and by female doctors no less, at other health clinics) - I finally had a sigh of relief having Dr James Teah!
Dr James has listened to every concern I have had, took the time to ask questions, referred me to correct services or order tests to understand what’s going on, he has been extremely kind and patient - I can’t imagine it’s easy when you start with a new patient who has had issues going on for years and no one has listened - so THANK YOU!! He has been the first doctor in my 27 years that I have really felt respected by, listened to and looked after.

Appreciative local.
After trying and attending other medical centres in the Hastings area, I'm incredibly thankful hfmc are bulked billed and open the long hours they are. They are a very busy clinic and I quickly learnt to book an extended appointment if I know I have other things to discuss other than general medication check-ups that could take longer than a standard appointment time. I've found all doctors and staff to be very good especially considering the exceptional pressure they all experience in such a demanding and busy environment.
