Dr. Jing Hu is by far the worst GP I have encountered since coming to Australia. In order to make money, she is willing to disregard basic professional ethics.

Here’s what happened:

Due to symptoms of postnatal depression, I visited Dr. Hu to request antidepressant medication and undergo a blood test. After the blood sample was taken, the staff at Stirling Clinic informed me that I would receive a phone call in a week to be notified of the test results, and that there would be no charge involved.

Yesterday, I received a call from Dr. Hu. During the call, at first, she seemed very caring and asked about my baby, as well as other unrelated personal matters that had nothing to do with my test results. Then she told me that my blood results were completely normal and that there was nothing to worry about when the phone call time passed about 6 minutes. What could have been a one-minute call dragged on for 10 minutes. After the call, I even thought she was a good doctor — not only did she inform me about my results, she also appeared genuinely concerned about my wellbeing.

However, a few hours later, I received an invoice in my email for $77.85 AUD. The charge was for Item 91891, which is a Medicare billing code for a GP telephone consultation that lasts six minutes or longer.

It was only at that moment that I realized why she had spent so much time chatting about things unrelated to my health condition — she was deliberately extending the call to exceed the 6-minute threshold required to bill under this item.

I was furious. I called the clinic to file a complaint and asked for an explanation from Dr. Hu. Her response shocked me: she said she didn’t owe me any explanation and that I could report her if I wanted — she wasn’t afraid of anything.

I have never encountered a doctor like this before, and I will never return to this clinic again.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Hamed Qubian. His comment during my visit was inappropriate, insensitive, and deeply unprofessional. I do not feel comfortable sharing the full details here, but I was genuinely shocked by his behavior.
Additionally, the clinic's overall approach to patient care is concerning. When I raised my concerns with the receptionist, she was dismissive and told me to take it up with the manager rather than listening or showing any support.
I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, as I felt completely unheard and uncared for during a time when compassion and professionalism were needed most.

Dr Sonair Ali Rana is incredibly condescending and rude. Also his room always smells like cigarettes further adding to the overall unpleasant experience. DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM. Pathetic excuse of a Dr. The receptionists are kind and lovely.

Booked to see Dr. Sonair Ali Rana twice over two days. I booked the first available appointment with him (9:10) on both days for a really simple issue; cold/flu symptoms and I needed a medical certificate for work. Dr Rana was late for both appointments, and I was told he hadn’t arrived at the clinic. I waited over an hour for him to arrive to see me. I can’t imagine how much more upset I would be if I had something urgent to see him about. Really unprofessional and a clear disregard for patients’ time. I won’t be coming back to the clinic.
