On one occasion, when I urgently needed assistance, Dr. Anwari failed to respond to my inquiries during a phone appointment. The receptionist informed us that we would have to wait until the next day because he was busy with patients. Unfortunately, the patient developed sepsis overnight and had to go to the hospital. This lack of responsiveness was deeply disappointing and made me question his commitment to patients. Another time, after that incident, a patient had a low fever and was waiting for test results. The receptionist said he was too busy and he can’t give a phone appointment that day and have to wait until the following day. When I went to the clinic in person at that time, no one was there, and the doctor was outside of the clinic.always weekends in trouble.

Terrible service consistently.
If you visit any other location you have to delete the account and sign up again to that location not user friendly at all. SO so many rooms for GP’s but there is usually have 2-4 working massive wait times. Very disappointing.

My previous review stands however stay away from Dr Khandker Rafi Ahmed, especially Female Patients. I would like to understand why would he ask a Female Muslim woman:
1. To "COMPLETELY" remove the head scarf for an ear inspection when it easily could be done with the head scarf exposing the ear?
2. Also how shameless to ask the same Female patient on how many layers has she worn while leaning towards asking to have such access for the stethoscope.

Both instances made my daughter very uncomfortable. So far no issues with other GPs but this specific one, is very rude, aggressive also during my visits.

The best practice I have been to in my time here in Sydney.

Kind and lovely receptionist who treats all patients with care. The kids always leave the practice with a smile. The doctors have all been very supportive, professional from Dr. Kieran, Dr. Anwari, Dr. Tiwari, Dr. Akhter.

I have been going there for some time.the doctors are very experience and staff at reception are very friendly.nurse at pathology room is very experience and friendly.today I needed to do blood test.a trainee nurse arrived.i was a bit worried .but all went well.the trainee nurse was also very gentle and applied as directed by the main nurse.i came home and changed the plaster to a simple band aid ..to my amusement I could not see where the actual needle went through ..how good is this trainee nurse...no t one bruise ..good job

This is my second review for Best Care Medical Practice because I cannot thank them enough. Not only the doctors but the receptionists are so kind and helpful. There have been a few times when my son needed immediate attention and Jeanette has accommodated us at short notice. I often get my blood tests done here and there is never a long wait, infact no wait most times. Nurse is lovely too. Thank you Best Care Medical for providing us with exceptional care and service.

My entire experience at Best Care was remarkable. Sarah, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and patient with me and made me feel really comfortable. See, who took my height and weight to register me as a new patient made the process really quick and easy. Dr Ahmed was really patient and unassuming when hearing my concerns and advised me accordingly. I did not feel like I was rushed or that my concerns were invalid.

Dr Tiwari has been our GP for many years now. We are happy with her services. She does not work on the weekends in the clinic. Today Saturday we urgently needed a new script called at 1:30 pm the receptionist said we are booked until 2:00 pm and we get there at 1:35 to see what can be done.
Much to our surprise the clinic is locked.
We are puzzled and wonder what is going on? May 2024

Again today Saturday 29th of June 2024 we called The Clinic to get the result of the urine sample we had sent a few days ago; called this morning and the receptionist told us the doctor will call you with the result but never heard back called again she said the doctor is busy call tomorrow morning; we said to them our son is a double organ transplant of a heart and a kidney and if he has UTI we need to know right away and get him on antibiotics. She said he is busy and cannot help you; we said how long does it take for him to tell us Yes or No; but she refused to help us.
The name of the GP. is Abdul Anwari and this is not the first time we are being abused by him. We asked to speak with the manager she said no manager today.
Somebody must STOP this man from behaving in such a sick and unprofessional manner. Thank you.

When my doctor Elaine changed practices I followed her here because I was really happy with her service and care as a doctor. But I think it’s also important to acknowledge the reception staff because it’s not often you come across equally good doctors and reception staff. Jeanette specifically is always willing to help and always treats you with kindness.
They have made some of the hardest experiences just that little bit easier and never made me feel like I was overreacting or delusional. Highly recommend this practice.
