The staff provided a student chaperone, who was friendly and attentive. My wife’s scan was bulk billed, which we really appreciated. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this clinic when I went for an urgent ultrasound scan on a Thursday morning. I had booked the appointment for 8:30 AM the day before and arrived on time. However, the sonographer did not show up until after 9:00 AM—no apology or explanation was offered for the delay.

When I was finally called in, I entered the scan room with my husband. Moments later, the receptionist walked in behind us with no explanation as to why he was entering or staying. I expressed that I wasn’t comfortable with that, and only then was I told he was a student. I clearly declined to have a student present during the scan, and he left the room without even acknowledging us or offering any apology.

The sonographer herself was rude and seemed to rush through the scan, despite there being no other patients waiting. When we paid for the scan, I asked if the URGENT report would be sent to the doctor by Saturday morning. The sonographer dismissively replied that the report was “not urgent” and would get to the doctor by Saturday.

However, when I saw my doctor on Saturday afternoon, the report still hadn’t arrived—despite the clear “URGENT” note from the referring doctor. When I called the clinic from the doctor’s office, they insisted on speaking directly to the doctor and unprofessionally told them the report was “not urgent” and there was “nothing wrong.” This was completely out of line, as they are not in a position to assess urgency—especially when it was clearly marked as such by a medical professional.

After the appointment, I had to call again and firmly demand my report, which had already been paid for. The lack of urgency, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from the staff were completely unacceptable.

This was a highly unprofessional and distressing experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful, responsive, and professional ultrasound service.

I had best experience ever for my family member. Akta sinol is very experienced person. She explained everything and made feel comfortable throughout the process. Definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone experienced and great at their work.
