My partner and I just finished our stay here for our anniversary. We had booked the Garden Superior Room with the outdoor spa.

Great, cute room with a large kind size bed. The whole place was clean and the spa was lovely. The team also left us a lovely bottle of prosecco with a little note wishing us a happy anniversary.

Unfortunately the dining room was closed on Monday's, however the breakfast in the morning was great! Will be travelling back soon to have dinner with our family soon!

We had a very nice stay, lot of spaces to get comfortable, rooms are good but could use a Nespresso/ coffee pod machine. Great spa facilities, and many more enjoyable luxuries.
Computer system seems a challenge for staff, slowing things down and also making service less personal.

Dated and way too pricey

When you first enter this place with its history and stand out location you’d be fooled into thinking you’re in for a special time. Sadly that wasn’t the case. We booked a deluxe heritage room with a balcony. Only ours didn’t come with a balcony which interestingly the lady at reception hadn’t realised! The room didn’t feel very deluxe either. Walls are paper thin, you can hear others chattering, TVs and the incessant banging of doors doesn’t make it a restful night. The WiFi is also atrocious and buffered throughout us trying to watch TV, even on our phones. The next day we looked forward to the ‘gourmet’ breakfast in the dining room. It was all a bit weird as nothing really went together and it was basic and oddly put together. The fruit salad or mono fruit salad for instance consisted of just water melon!

We had a wonderful time in Hepton and Daylesford and will definitely be back but not at the overpriced Mineral Springs Hotel. Such a shame.

Oh my goodness - I am on cloud 9! So utterly and thoroughly relaxed. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and if I could rate it 6 stars, I would. My partner and I came up from Melbourne for the Long weekend. Such a beautiful, ornate, and fancy vibes. Fireplaces and luxe sitting areas with the best cocktails and happy hour by super friendly staff. Actually all the staff have been wonderful from check in to day spa to dining (we ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant - stunning quality, no complaints at all).

It rained most of the weekend but location wise it was perfect to duck out and explore nearby areas. Just really enjoyed the gorgeous setting, warm hospitality, and super lovely getaway - do yourself a favour and book a weekend away here!

Location is great, room is great with nice large bed, clean and good ambience. We celebrate birthday and got some complimentary drink (thanks!). Overall we had a good time staying at this place. Nicely decorated room, and the garden looks amazing. There is plenty to do in the area.||I stayed in the garden superior room, The Spa on the deck is good idea, but I suggest to have more privacy screen or outdoor cover would be better. It is quite visible from road/public area, and few wasp makes it uncomfortable. The spa bath is prone to outdoor elements like dirty leaves and dust that cause the filter to clogged up easily. ||The room wall also quite thin, as we can hear conversation in another room next to us.||The Mineral Spa place is quite busy, there is no special connection to the hotel or no special deal when you stay there, It is a missed opportunity having a Spa treatment area in the hotel with no package deal.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the morning breakfast is okay. There is a range of foods but it felt like it was missing something. Staff were very friendly and kind, and willing to do a lot to help you.

Our room was nice, good sized tv clean bed and nice modern bathroom. Plenty of soap, shampoo etc. mattress was very comfortable

Heater worked well, and the wifi worked perfectly on my switch console!

Thanks!

Dated and overpriced

Looks lovely when you first enter, but don’t be fooled. Rooms are tiny, dated and very noisy. The bathroom in the Heritage Classic had a cheap plastic shower and toilet set up. Stained carpets, cracked switches, the rooms haven’t been updated for at least 20 years. You can hear your neighbours talking, watching TV and slamming their balcony door! There’s shared balconies between rooms, where people smoke, leaving rooms smelling musty and disgusting. The TVs are tiny. They’re selling themselves as luxury, charging a price for luxury and providing a budget product. I could deal with the problems at $100, maybe $150 a night, but this room set me back almost $400. Breakfast was average and not enough to redeem the place. One positive was the staff, who were friendly and hardworking. But again, sadly their efforts are not enough to redeem what was a very poor experience overall. An absolute joke, dishonest and misleading. In any other industry it’d be called a scam. If you’re looking for value for money or peace and quiet, go elsewhere.
