What a wonderful, very friendly and fun experience we received at the Avoca Visitor Information Centre. Great displays, loads of brochures and maps with a very informative staff member on duty, all enhanced our visit to the gorgeous Pyrenees Region. I would thoroughly recommend you calling in here to discover the great events and special activities taking place during your stay. I loved the antique rocking horse which was from nearby Equus @Moonambel (nearby winery) and the goldfields diorama was interesting. Gifts, local produce and souvenirs available.

Very helpful staff in all areas. Enjoy dropping in to say hi or going into the library or picking up information pamphlets. They will offer help in most areas such as yours of the town, when certain places are open and suggest to visit our local art silo.

A big thank you to Sally who on Sunday went out of her way to loan us a left handed golf club (one of her husband's) so my husband and I could have a round of golf at Royal Avoca golf course. Very obscure request which Sally handled with aplomb! Very much appreciated!!! We are already planning a return visit - hopefully with my own golf clubs!!! Loved the wineries and had a great meal at the Avoca Hotel.

Went in to use the computer to print something off an the lady says no cause we about to close an had 15 mins until closing time she said she just turned the computers off . but as u know the computers are already off during the day I do go in there a few times a week to use the computers an they are off .
